The old lady turned me on to Indian food decades ago and I've been in love with it ever since. Here's my favorite dish: Chicken Tikka Masala (made very spicy hot); Dal Soup (addictive); Basmati Rice (the king of all rices); and Onion Chutney. Forgot to order the Garlic Nan Bread!
Left before and right the finished product. I carved the neck a bit to make it fit on a Dal. And you have to saw/sand/dremel/carve the knob down to make the eyemech fit it. Also use rubber band or similar to make it more steady.
Work done:
carved philtrum, nose, and lips
lashes removed
new faceup
brainworm wheat eyechips
Basically just playing around with customizing a Dal. :P I hate her stock wig so I'm in the market for a new one.

Realized I hadn't updated my livejournal profile since around January. I decided to make an updated version of the family mosaic. I am going to attempt to keep this picture up to date via editing periodically. I am currently on a dolly diet so I thought it was good timing as for once no one is in the mail or actively on the way here at the moment.
Most of these are now tagged, I am working on tagging the rest at the moment..
-Customized denoted dolls that are recognizable from their stock form
-Custom means they are full customs
Big version here-

Song of Childhood
When the child was a child
It walked with its arms swinging,
wanted the brook to be a river,
the river to be a torrent,
and this puddle to be the sea.
When the child was a child,
it didn’t know that it was a child,
everything was soulful,
and all souls were one.
When the child was a child,
it had no opinion about anything,
had no habits,
it often sat cross-legged,
took off running,
had a cowlick in its hair,
and made no faces when photographed.

Dal a gyermekségről
Mikor gyermek volt a gyermek,
karját lóbálva járt,
folyónak hitte a patakot.
folyamnak a folyót,
és tengernek ezt a pocsolyát.
Mikor gyermek volt a gyermek,
nem tudta, hogy ő gyermek,
mindenben lelket érzett,
és egynek érzett minden lelket.
Mikor gyermek volt a gyermek,
semmiről sem volt véleménye,
nem voltak szokásai,
gyakran ült törökülésben,
nekifutás nélkül ugrott,
forgó volt a hajában,
és nem fintorgott fényképezés közben.

Elogio dell’infanzia
