This Humber has been fitted with a wonderful dashboard as standard with the owner fitting a few extra switches and a new gauge fitted between the steering column and the heater controls.
My new baby- with new screen-saver. The verdict is still out as to whether this is all just a big waste of time, but it does play HD video very nicely. I hope they start making some more original games for it and also support Divx video.
I bought this customised Dinky AEC Single Deck Bus from my local retro shop on Saturday afternoon. It was in the 'used diecast' tray!
I was amazed at the lovely attention to detail the previous owner had put into it, as well as its overall condition, only for the shop owner to have simply put it in one of the trays along with all the scrapyard play worn diecasts!
The doors opening mechanism still works perfectly, the plastic window unit and interior is pristine, the bell works, the cast wheels shine, the tyres are excellent and its 100% complete and professionally customised...
I guess the shop owner was being a bit of a fool but he sold it to me for the princely sum of....

It was actually labelled at £5. I will be keeping this as is. The next few photos highlight the lovely detailing put into it – all hand painted too...
