A rather strange casting which at first glance seems to be a flight of fancy by the Matchbox Team. Its supposedly based on a 1935 Ford Sedan Custom that is known as one of the earliest custom hot rods. The real car was commissioned by Leonard K DeBell, owner of the So Calif Plating Co. who had bought a brand new Ford phaeton. His plan was to use it as a very classy delivery truck but to be able to do that the car had to be lengthened by 12 inches to be able to carry freshly chromed bumpers which his company specialised in.
This Matchbox casting isn't supposed to be an exact replica of this car, merely inspired by it. Either way its typical left field Matchbox and works really well in Moving Parts guise.

Está extensamente modificado con piezas de distintos coches. Por ejemplo, la parrilla de la calandra parece ser de un Cadillac de esos tiempos y las troneras en el capó imitan a las de los Buick, el techo está rebajado pero parece ser un Chevrolet. La pintura es difÃcil de captar porque es un verde mate que más parece base o imprimación que pintura.
I am so pleased with the new Raya I customized. :) I used a Darci on this one, as they are very similar to Jem dolls and the face sculpt just works so nicely for Raya. And check out that pink pink hair! And to finish her off, she has a reproduction of one of the prototype fashions.

I'm in the midst of doing a 365 doll project. I don't actually have 365 dolls but the basic intention is to photograph a different doll each day, in addition to a different doll's photo every day I will also post up some pertinent details about them.

Bio- Nelliel is an Arrancar and former Espada. She is a noble warrior refusing to fight against weaker opponents and is somewhat of a pacifist compared to the rest of the Espada. She will protect those who are near and dear to her. Nelliel was the 3rd Espada, Nnoitra defeated her by using treachery and taking her fraccion captive. Once her hollow mask was broken by a sneak attack she was tossed down to Los Noches with her fraccion where she was reborn into her child form. In times of great stress otherwise she remains in her child-form. Although she fears Shingami she has a soft spot for Ichigo.

Yesterday's doll of the day, it was uploaded earlier but I never made it public and it got buried under the deluge of new pics today so I reuploaded it.
Nelliel is a character from the Bleach anime/manga, Requiemart customized her as a part of the series of Bleach dolls she did. I already bought little Nel at Anime Boston earlier in the year so I am happy to reunite the two.

Of course, SEAT is pronounced "SAY-ott." It's an acronym for Sociedad Española de Automóviles de Turismo (Spanish for "Society of Spanish Touring Cars"). This is the SEAT 600, made from 1957 to 1973, with a very small engine in the back.
Though Spanish, it was based on the Italian Fiat 600, so it makes sense that a pizzeria in Bloomfield, New Jersey would use it to promote itself.
This is the first (and so far only) SEAT I've seen in person, and that too makes sense, since SEATs aren't sold in the United States.

So here’s Lammily. She puts me in the mind of a snobby hipster that’s probably done everything you have, only sooner and more expensively.
I carved her lips to get the weird flat expression off her face. I boiled her hair to get it to lay down flatter (instead of the just rooted mad scientist look she had going on). I also carved down her weird toe-thumbs. They were two times thicker than the rest of her fingers and just made her hands look really, really awkward.
She’ll arrive with her default clothing in her original box (which has a bit of a tear, it was awkward to open). She fits YOSD size pants perfectly and Ken shirts are a good size for her, too, as well as Ken shoes.
This is a project I had in my head for a couple of years before I finally tackled it.
That's a Spectra Tom Comet body, a Barbie TV head that I gutted the roller so it just lights up, then replaced the scenery with my own drawn face. Then I sewed the outfit and painted it, and sculpted and painted horns out of foam, and threw some Christmas sparkly stuff on. He is really head heavy though, so he falls over easily.
