I am currently learning Late Biblical Hebrew and am so excited at the prospect of being able to read God's word in the language in which the earliest examples of these texts are known to exist.
Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, is also known as The Guitar Hotel due to its tower constructed to resemble a guitar, is a hotel and casino resort in Hollywood, Florida, United States, located on 100 acres (40 ha) of the Hollywood Reservation of the Seminole Tribe of Florida. The property currently has one hotel tower, a 140,000 sq ft (13,000 m2) casino, a large poker room, a 4-acre (1.6 ha) lagoon-style pool facility with a center bar, and many private restaurants, shops, spa, cabanas, bars, and nightclubs, and the Hard Rock Event Center. A large expansion was completed in October 2019.
The resort currently has a 12-story "classic Hard Rock Hotel" with 469 guest rooms and suites. Guests are greeted by a 50-foot (15 m) tall signature Hard Rock guitar, (based on a famous Gibson electric guitar model) at the entrance of the hotel, along with a massive LED advertising screen at the front of the main parking garage. The resort has 120,000-square-foot (11,000 m2) of meeting space, including a 38,000-square-foot (3,500 m2) exhibit hall.
The Hard Rock's $1.5 billion property expansion project added a 450-foot (140 m) tower designed to appear as a guitar, with lights providing the imagery of guitar strings, and 638 rooms alongside a seven-story, 168-room "Oasis Tower" overlooking the pool cabanas— open on October 24, 2019, several months in advance of Super Bowl LIV being held in Miami on February 2, 2020. The expansion also included a 42,000-square-foot (3,900 m2) "Rock Spa", and over 20 new dining and nightlife destinations. Between the existing 12-story hotel, new Guitar Hotel, and new Oasis Tower, over 1,200 hotel rooms became available in October 2019.
On May 9, 2014, Seminole Chief Jim Billie announced a $100 million upgrade of the tribe's casinos, with much of that spent on the Hard Rock Hollywood location, including improved entryways, center pool bar, pool facility upgrades, updated hotel room, and suite interiors, and a new restaurant. As of March 2019, the tribe's upgrade budget was significantly increased to over $2.4 billion, split mainly between this location and the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Tampa.
The current casino layout covers over 140,000 sq ft (13,000 m2) featuring slot machines and various table games including blackjack, baccarat, mini-baccarat, Pai Gow poker, Let It Ride, and three-card poker. The casino does not have live craps and roulette, although there are electronic versions of those games available. As of June 2018, the poker room is located in a former ballroom area, relocated from its prior venue due to ongoing construction work.
Blackjack is the most popular card game in the United States and was an addition to the casino. In a deal valued at $1.1 billion, former Governor Charlie Crist gave the Seminole Tribe a license for blackjack in its casinos. In exchange, The Seminole Tribe loaned the State of Florida $1.1 billion over the course of two years. On July 3, 2008, the Florida Supreme Court ruled that the governor's agreement was unconstitutional, but table games continue to operate because the Federal Department of the Interior approved the now-invalid pact with the state. The addition of blackjack to the Hard Rock casinos in Hollywood and Tampa gave credibility to its claim of being a major gambling destination.[
Hard Rock Live is a 7,000 seat multi-purpose theater, which opened on October 25, 2019, with a concert by Maroon 5. The theater replaced a 5,500 seat arena (razed in March 2018 as part of the property-wide expansion) of the same name, which hosted different types of events including musical acts, comedians, boxing, and other smaller events, along with a residency by Billy Joel. During construction of the new theater, events were held at the temporary 3,500 seat Hard Rock Event Center, which hosted acts including Britney Spears on her Piece of Me Tour.
The 69th edition of the Miss Universe competition was held on May 16, 2021, at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino where Zozibini Tunzi of South Africa crowned her successor Andrea Meza of Mexico at the end of the event.
Model Anna Nicole Smith, who was staying at the resort, died in her hotel suite on February 8, 2007. An autopsy ruled her death was caused by an accidental drug overdose from prescription drugs.

A bit of a story to tell about this rock:
A few years ago I came to this desolate waterfall for a mid-ride dip, and I saw that the water was flowing pretty fast, but cockiness in my swimming-ability meant that I got in anyway. My usual diving spot is a rock to the left of this one (the rock I'm standing on in the next photo) slightly to the left of the inundating current as it resurfaces from a 3-meter deep underwater hollow. After diving in, I knew the current was stronger than normal, but continued toward the middle anyway, which is where I was snatched by the torrent and pinned against this rock!
It took me a good five minutes to figure out how I was going to escape this hold mother-nature had me in, but managed to inch myself up as high as I could on this rock, then reach across to a huge rock directly behind me from where I took this shot.
P.S. I saved a drowning child at this same waterfall on April 7, 2013, so I really should have known better!

This is my current Cavey family! I'm so proud of it. I also have four new Caveys on the way. I was going to wait until they arrived to take this group photo, but I kept putting off the project because a new Cavey was always on the way... I'll just retake the photo when the new Caveys arrive. ^___^
Cavey is my my number one hobby right now (as you can tell). I just love all my cuties! I share the hobby with my mom so some of these belong to her. The Caveys with the * by them are mine. ^^
(I've never introduced Pegasus Cavey, which is a special creation from Holly. He was a gift to my mom from her! The main differences between Pegasus Cavey and Unicorn Cavey are that he has wings, a gigantic horn with extra sparkles and light green eyes instead of dark green.)

Dicha estación perteneciente al Ferrocarril Sud, se encuentra entre las estaciones Balcarce y Ramos Otero. Ahora es un paraje con unas 4 a 5 viviendas, algunas de ellas portadas de estancias que se encuentran frente a la abandonada estación de ferrocarril. Photograph taken at an altitude of One hundred and thirteen metres at 11:30am on Thursday 8th November 2018, off Biskupstungnabraut 35 and Haukadalsvegur F333 at Gesir, a geothermal location where a geyser erupts every eight to ten minutes. The location is in an area formerly known as Hverasandar at the northern edge of the southern lowlands in Haukadalur, Iceland.
The geothermal field has a surface area of around 3 km² and the former spouting Geyser here, named Hvitamelur is dry. To the south are two small spouting Geysers known as Marteinslaug and Gufubadshver, and the current oldest spouting Geyser Northernmost is Geysir itself.

Backstory: Brooke would always be running around, being active in various sports. Despite looking quite happy, there was a deep seeded sadness within her, which she couldn't shake. Her powers didn't make things any easier. A constant need to be moving around, with her whole body vibrating constantly. It freaked her parents out various times, and would visit several specialists, but there wasn't a solution given to this problem. This problem would lead to her pushing away any guys that were interested in her romantically, as she didn't want to hurt them. It was at this time in which she would become a hero, as running seemed to stop the vibrating, at least for a short while. She would call herself Blur, as that's all she is when she's running. Since she was just a freshman in high-school at the time, she mostly avoided fights with villains, and focused on rescue operations. This eventually attracted the attention of the first Burnout, Garrett Reddick. He saw her potential, and wanted to teach her how to better use her gifts. At least that's what she thought. In reality, he wanted to find someone who he could truly mold, as his attempts with his son didn't work. He would find a way to lessen the rate at which she vibrates, and in return, she became his sidekick. This was during the time when his son Marcus was in a coma. Now being able to somewhat control her vibrations, she would have various flings with different guys, even going so far as to sleep with some of them, as she didn't see her own worth. While she was considered his sidekick, Brooke had her own ideas of what being a hero entailed, as the examples were all around them. This would lead to them fighting, even during battles with supervillains. Brooke would stop being his sidekick altogether upon graduating high school. three years later, when she couldn't take it anymore. Adopting a new name, Redshift, along with a new costume, she would become a hero in her own right. The sadness was still there though, as all of her high-school friends moved on, while she started working a minimum wage job. There were times when she considered ending it all, but being a hero pushed her through it all. A solution would come years later, though not necessarily the one she may have expected, in the form of Euphoria. It was the new drug of choice for the seedy underbelly of Cardinal City. People who wanted a way out of their sadness. Of course Brooke would take this opportunity to get some for herself. Obviously this was a conflict of interest, but she couldn't stand being sad anymore. A new hero calling himself Burnout would be seen in public for the first time, but Brooke recognized that it wasn't Garrett. After taking Euphoria, she would feel indestructible, like she could do anything. She had no fear, which led to her charging headfirst into a supervillain prison breakout by herself. This new Burnout would save her from getting herself killed, even though she tried so hard to do things by herself. He delayed her until Archon arrived, who would round up most of the escapees. After the effects of the drug wore off, Brooke thanked this new Burnout, by kissing him and running away straight after. She recalls that this Burnout is nothing like the monster Burnout she was the sidekick of. Hopefully, in time, she can find a way past her inner sadness, along with the vibrations, but for now, she's Redshift, a hero whose always on the move to save whoever she can.

The River Medina is the main river of the Isle of Wight, an island off the south coast of England, rising at St Catherine's Down in the south of the Island and flowing through the capital here at Newport, towards the Solent at Cowes. Here the river is a navigable tidal estuary flowing northwards where it takes the form of a ria (a drowned valley). The Medina is 17 km long with a catchment area of 17 km2. The river flows northwards collecting the Merston Stream at Blackwater before intersecting the ridge at Shide. The Lukely Brook is a tributary to the main river rising in Bowcombe Valley and joining the river at the head of the estuary in Newport.
Its current state has occurred because the Medina used to be a tributary of the river Solent and have a much larger catchment area, as the Solent valley flooded and the island eroded the river received less water flow and more sediment, causing it to become more tidal.
The river is bridged at Newport. Cowes is connected to East Cowes by a chain ferry known as the Cowes Floating Bridge.
The name Medina came from the Old English Meðune meaning "the middle one", and the current pronunciation was first recorded as 'Medine' in 1196.
The river is used by yachtsmen as a very safe harbour. Along the banks of the Medina there are many old warehouses and wharves where in the past flying boats, hovercraft and steam ships were built and developed. The Classic Boat Museum displays much of the river's history alongside the history of yachting. The Island Harbour Marina, an old tidal mill, is also located on the river, about 1 mile from Newport.
Newport is a civil parish and a county town of the Isle of Wight. Newport has a population of 23,957 according to the 2001 census. The town is situated slightly to the north of the centre of the Island, at the head of the navigable section of the River Medina, which flows towards the Solent, and on which the town has this quay.
There are signs of Roman settlement in the area, which was probably known as Medina, including two known Roman villas one of which, Newport Roman Villa, is excavated and open to the public.
There was little later use until after the Norman conquest with the first charter being granted late in the twelfth century. In 1377 an invading French force burnt down much of the town while attempting to take Carisbrooke Castle, then under the command of Sir Hugh Tyrill. A group of French were captured and killed, then buried in a tumulus later nicknamed Noddies Hill, a "noddy" being medieval slang for a body. This was later corrupted to Nodehill, the present-day name for a part of central Newport – a name confusing to many as the area is flat.
In 1648 Charles I and a group of Parliamentary Commissioners concluded the Treaty of Newport, an attempt at reaching a compromise in the Civil War, undermined by Charles's negotiations with the French and Scots to intervene on his behalf. The Treaty was repudiated by Oliver Cromwell upon returning from defeating the Scots at The Battle of Preston leading to Charles's execution.
The town was incorporated as a borough in 1608. The town's position as an area of trade accessible to the sea meant it rapidly took over from Carisbrooke as the main central settlement, eventually absorbing the latter as a suburb. The borough ceased to exist in 1974 after the incorporation of the larger Borough of Medina, which was itself superseded in 1995 by a single unitary authority covering the whole of the Isle of Wight.
In recent times, Newport has undergone an influx of changes, with two shopping centres and all new road directions to show for the town's recent development efforts. Newport Quay has also been re-developed, with art galleries such as the Quay Arts Centre, and new flats converted from old warehouses. Newport Harbour is a secure haven in all weathers and seasons and an ideal base for exploring England's biggest island. Using the harbour as a base you can explore unspoilt countryside, spectacular coastline, charming villages and visit a variety of attractions. Attractions beside the harbour include the Quay Arts Centre, the Riverside Centre and a recently established nautical museum called the Classic Boat Museum. The compact town centre is only a few minutes walk away and offers a wide range of shops, including branches of most leading national High Street retailers and several "superstores". There are modern leisure facilities and many pubs and restaurants catering for most tastes and budgets.
Speed within the Harbour is restricted to 4 knots.
The building in the background is Jubilee Stores, which is owned and run by Quay Arts, and is an attractive arts complex overlooking Newport Harbour. It houses a Ceramics Workshop, Jewellery Studio, General Workshop with print facilities, and seven Artists' Studios. Most of Quay Arts' Classes and Workshops programme takes place in this creative facility.

あらすじ
大学を目指している北見ケイは、SNS上で、6歳年上のイベントコンパニオン、上村香織に出会う。
上京してきた香織の夢は、有名なアーティストの友達になるためだ。
そのためにはラジオ局のプロデューサー、大沢亮の存在が必要だった。
大沢は、ラジオの生放送中、香織へ語りかける。
「僕には妻子がある。しかし、僕は君に会いたいと思っている」
ケイの同級生で、彼を想っている三條里香は、香織の動向を探っていた。。。。。
本編
人が海へ向かう理由には、二つある。
ひとつは、波打ち際ではしゃぐ子供のように、今の瞬間の海の輝きを楽しむこと。
もうひとつは、その輝きを静かに見据えて、過ぎ去った日々を懐かしむ老人のように記憶の埃を払うこと。
二つは重なり合わないようではあるけれども、たったひとつの意味しか生まない。
再生だ。
明日っていう、曖昧な日を確実なものへと変えてゆくために、自分の存在に向き合う。
それが再生の意味だ。
十八歳だった僕には大切な人がいた。

The Baquedano square (mainly known as Italia square by inhabitants of Santiago) is one of the key milestones of this metropolitan area. This place, where Providencia avenue change our name to Alameda Bernardo O´Higgins (or simply Alameda), and others avenues like Vicuña Mackenna ends here, is a symbolic place for ´santiaguinos´. Celebrations (when the chilean soccer team win the last 2 Copa América), demonstrations (specially on 20111) and other kind of situations (is used as a meeting point) generate an special status for this urban place.

El sector de la Plaza Baquedano (conocida comúnmente como "Plaza Italia" por los Santiaguinos), es uno de los principales puntos de esta área metropolitana de casi 7 millones de habitantes. Este lugar, donde la Av. Providencia cambia su nombre a "Alameda Bernardo O´Higgins" (o simplemente "Alameda") rumbo al poniente (y donde otras calles como Vicuña Mackenna finalizan su largo periplo de sur a norte) es sin duda, un lugar simbólico para los santiaguinos). Celebraciones (como cuando la selección chilena ganó las últimas 2 Copas América), protestas (desde el movimiento "No Más AFP" hasta las estudiantiles de 2006 y 2011) y un sinfín de situaciones (este lugar se usa como punto de encuentro para muchas situaciones casuales, como una reunión), crean un estatus especial para este lugar citadino, que en el reciente verano no perdía su frenético movimiento.

I like to remember the date of the last swim of the season, since I was hot and sweaty from the hike in, I took what could be the last voluntary dip of 2015.
Still green on the Manistee as of 9/25. Anyone planning a float over the weekend is in for a treat, the forecast looks beautiful and the water is as clear as it gets outside of winter.
