hooray, i have a left sleeve! and the cuffs may be one my favorite aspects of this lovely pattern -- it almost looks like jeweled bracelets. now i just need a right sleeve...
This guy was auctioned off for $167. That means that he took 167 lashes! At least a quarter of those were hard cracks, too! I can't even imagine how he made it through those; he must'a went to his "special place." *wink*
A delicate, floral pattern designed and stitched completely hand creates a unique and romantic cuff style bracelet. I started with a base of purple cotton basted to fabric interfacing and stitched an intricate, floral design in pinks, greens, teals and yellow tones using cotton embroidery floss. When the embroidery was completed, the cuff was backed with very soft pale tan leather and edged with matte metallic gold beads in a brick stitch edging. A sliding tube clasp was added and securely stitched on. The clasp is gold plated. Please note that the beadwork and edge stitching was all done with very sturdy nymo thread.
Dimensions: This cuff will wrap comfortably around a 7 inch (177.8 mm) wrist, and can be worn on wrists smaller than 7 inches. Due to the nature of the closure, the size cannot be adjusted above 7 inches. The cuff is 1.625 inches (41.3 mm) wide.

The front view of my multicolored cuff. All sequins and beads are from my "sequin pile," a bunch of sparklies left over from various jewelry projects. I put a good dent in the pile, but there's plenty left!

an expirimental design for a fabric wrist cuff, it ended up beign a bit big and sits a bit on my hand which I'm happy with as I sit hear wearing it. I was inspired by a few diffrent things (coffee cuffs and some leather cuffs , and some expensivecuffs on etsy that weren't quite my cup of coffee but it was a fun project and kept me from thinking about how freaking cold I am today.
