Cross process

A roll of expired Fuji Velvia 50 slide film run through a Canon EOS A2E with a 50mm f1.8 lens, then cross processed in C-41 chemicals.

This is a colour neg film that when scanned I ran it through the transparency section, just liked the effect.

I thought a cross-processed-esque look would work well with these urban shots from Cuba - hopefully they add 60s/70s vibe to modern pictures

Did some cross processing on this photo via a tutorial I found on youtube...

cross processed

Taken with a Nikon F4s film SLR using Ektachrome 64T tungsten white balance slide film, cross-processed as print film. So the colours are weird on purpose.

End of the day. This is only representative, as many of us don't have on-campus parking privileges. I usually park on the street a few blocks away. Some of us have been on the parking permit waiting list for close to a decade.

Because I am using Elite Chrome, everything on my other cross-processed pics was blue-greenish, except where there was a bright pop of red. So I slapped on some red lipstick for an impromptu photo-shoot to see what I would look like cross-processed!

or maybe i'm just attracted to red things because they're pertty.

no PP, just re-size. These are cross-process tests from a roll Fuji Velvia film from my Nikon N80/F80. I over exposed 1-1.5 stops and pulled 1/2 stop in development, no color shift in processing.

Basically, my conclusion is I'd rather do my x-processing in PP, from a digital RAW file. The film xp neg isn't as flexible.

Any opinions?

I decided to experiment with some cross processing - I'm liking the effect it gives, it punched up the contrast, as the initial effect gave quite a 'foggy' appearance to it...... thoughts?
