The Beginning, (Crop Circles )
at first i noticed only the crop circles, dozen of them of any possible sizes
as this
This field seems to have a large number of garden escapees.
Alcea, commonly known as hollyhocks, is a genus of about 60 species of flowering plants in the mallow family Malvaceae. They are native to Asia and Europe.
Hollyhocks are annual, biennial, or perennial plants usually taking an erect, unbranched form. The herbage usually has a coating of star-shaped hairs. The leaf blades are often lobed or toothed, and are borne on long petioles. The flowers may be solitary or arranged in fascicles or racemes. The notched petals are usually over 3 centimeters wide and may be pink, white, purple, or yellow. The fruit is a schizocarp, a dry disc divided into over 15 sections that contain seeds.

Johnson, circa 1899-1929; one-thousand trading cards, circa 1900s-1930s; and one-hundred-thousand stacked pencil pieces individually topped with a single drop of acrylic paint from the artist's palette of over one-hundred-fifty hand-mixed colors.

Crops destroyed for a third time this year, after the double flooding earlier this year. Filled with brackish water when the river overflowed its banks, the crop failure has already led to a sharp increase in the price of grain.

Here is for Jan_ice, a crop of the bear as he is preparing for a bluff charge.
For me the scariest part was the full body language, the position of the head (low) was much scarier than the look of his eyes.
Here is a photograph of a Crop Duster making his way to the many different farm fields in our area. He was flying quite low as I hit him at 200mm.
