I would have smiled at you but it's one of these bad hair days, today. I went for an American themed outfit here with the baseball-tee, the cap (out of necessity) and the boots (I still love my cowboyboots, can't help it..). Pinstriped vest is H&M, shorts and pin thrifted, tee hand-me-down, boots ebay.

Cereal rye cover crops on Lynn Betts farm in Guthrie County. The cereal rye was flown on in the fall.
NOTE: a good stand is key to holding soil and preventing erosion. A good stand is a function of seeding method, seeding rate, and good quality seed (certified seed with a high germination percentage). In the event of a poor cover crop stand, erosion can occur.

The recent (relatively!) Supernova in the edge on galaxy is such a massive explosion it outshines billions of stars O.O
I love this stone! It looks like crop circles to me. This Phoenix Jasper is wire wrapped in 20 gauge copper wire. Jasper is believed by many people to provide grounding to the wearer. If you are interested in a full description of the vibrational qualitites of stones, visit my website!
Cropped this one just to show the head, as I couldn't get the whole bird in frame. Taken near Boddam, Shetland
This is my new friend Ted with his crop sprayer. I've had such fun this week what with going off in the combine harvester earlier in the week, then today climbing up in here to go off round the field! Amazing. It's huge and so incredibly intelligent.

taking a closer look at my favorite part of this agate (the whole agate is about the size of the palm of my hand) and cropping out the best part of that - to show the plume-like, flowergarden structures and moss.
It is very unusual to see a large crop field surrounded by high-altitude mountains and set of clouds all the time. Chitkul offers such a mesmerizing view with variety of colors and with a temperature drop.
A large crop circle appeared in the field next to Kennel lane in Cookham Dean.. or is it just a fence post..
On a side note, I think kennel lane should refer to it's much older name of "Stoney Lane" as their is no kennel their any more and their a gazillion stones their (most of which where dumped here at the end of the last ice age.. the ice sheet came as far as Cookham and would go no further)

Literally. Right now I just want to tell you how cool this looked in person. Thanks to Sandfibers for educating me about this method of irrigation. I had no idea!
... in cropping. I was having a play and decided to have a real close in crop of a photo I took the other day to see what detail there was in the photo. This is about 1/60 of the area of the original (he was a long way away) but it is quite remarkable how much detail is still there. Now, with a better piece of glass I am sure the results would be even better, but for the time being the Sigma will have to do.
