Crop of Harbor Seal from Harbor Seal image.

A cropped version of the earlier shot which gives the shot a different dynamic, although I prefer the original.

Raspberry plant with ripe fruit at Bitterroot experimental station.

Early on Sunday morning, we heard a plane. I grabbed my camera and went in the backyard to get this shot.

The rice crops were a little "thin" this year...

The effects of the expired film really came out in this shot. First shot on the roll.

Week 2/52 Weeks for Pix 2010

Re-worked prior photo for 52 Weeks of Pix group-- the theme is "Eyes".

Followed a contact's suggestion and erased the white line that was distracting in the background (see photos in first comment below). Then I just did a tighter crop to emphasize my Lisette's eyes. I upped the Topaz processing a little, but masked her eyes-- so that they would stand out even further.

Lisette is not pleased with the camera here. She fears the lights and noises it makes, even though I try my best to turn all noises and flashes off. So her eyes express a willingness to do her best to please me and pose, but some apprehension of the camera-- a sort of cringe with her eyes.

At Warehead Farm, milling grain is grown by the farmer.

Throughout the growing cycle the crops are tended to by a variety of machines in order that pesticides and fertilisers can be applied.

Today this sprayer, a Bateman 3000, was in use and can be seen here applying a pesticide to the crops.
