Caught up in the details about the skies and decided to use the farm and its crop to show them off. Nice and hot today but when you live in Ohio you learn not to complain about the heat. We all know what follows. Just the thought of the next few seasons make me cringe.
... finally got my hands on the R7. Took it for a spin to the races yesterday for my birthday. Subject tracking is awesome! Lots more practicing needed but got some good shots nevertheless
This is a test edit using Vegas 13 to crop 2.7K video to 1080p. The purpose was to make more of the footage shot useable by keeping the car in frame better. This also had the benefit of making it appear like the camera was closer to the car. This is the first time I've tried this and I can see the potential. I can also see the drawbacks of moving the cropped area too often or too much whick adds a jerky look to the video in places.

This is part of a huge collection of pictures I took during a flying school trip From Ottawa, Ontario to Vancouver, British Columbia this past summer. A great learning opportunity for us new private pilots and instructors to fly to all these cool locations along the way and back. We took 3 Cessna 172s and one Beechcraft Duchess.
