Crenshaw County students Alana Barnes, Brooke Simmons, Nolleigh Reaves and Emma Foster sharpened leadership skills during the Alfa Youth Leadership Conference at the 4-H Center in Columbiana Sept. 30-Oct 1. The annual leadership workshop is for 9th-10th graders. Barnes and Reeves attend Brantley High School, while Simmons is a student at Luverne High School. Foster is a student at Highland Home School. They were sponsored by the Crenshaw County Farmers Federation. From left are the Alabama Farmers Federation’s Mike Tidwell, Barnes, Simmons, Foster and Reaves.

Crenshaw Stories by Buzz Spector is the art component of the Crenshaw Green Line Station. A well done public art piece that includes stories from local residents in a variety of languages.

Canopies at the Expo Line Expo/Crenshaw Station

The Crenshaw Hall Plantation neighborhood in Wake Forest, NC features spacious homes on large wooded lots.

Oldest building on Crenshaw that was moved here from Iowa. (Supposedly, from 1885-1980 portions of this building was the Pottawattamie County Courthouse in Council Bluffs, Iowa. However, photos of the fomer courthouse there hardly resembles this one, so perhaps just the inspiration for it? The building is used as Law and CPA offices.)
