The central idea of my conceptual series is creativity, and how people express their feelings through their works, and all of the emotions used in my photos are stress to better tie together my series. The exploration in my series is through the different types of creativity used to get through the good times and the hard times in life through ones’ works; represented in my photos as getting through the hard times. Picture one is of someone writing to relieve their stress. Picture two is acting with two people, and one is very much stressing over her script. Picture 3 is of someone playing the ukulele for relief. Picture for is of someone taking pictures in an attempt to not be so overwhelmed. And Picture five is of someone in disapproval what she's made and stressed.

Paint me a face

said the young girl

make it red and black stripes

give me a nose and some whiskers

Paint me a face said another

I'd like some glitter

and butterfly wings

The artist gave them what they wanted

and recalled a time when she

too waited in such a line

and remembered what she asked for . . .

As a child sitting in front of the wash machine the sweet flower smell made me water mouthering. It looked like an experimental milkshake!

A screen print, developed from observational drawings of my hands, reflecting a restlessness to create. Multiple hands give a sense of fidgeting, and presented in a circle, it reminds me of a clock face, and time passing.

We designed this letterpress card as a New Year's greeting a few years ago. It was printed by Full Circle Press in Nevada City, CA. The phrase is so true for me that I even have it on the back of my business card.

I took this picture walking down the famed ‘graffiti street’ in San Francisco. The entire street is just filled with creative demonstrations of public art and its always changing and evolving, What a great medium to share and express
