Day 223. A light bulb moment.
Sad news this evening. It seemed fitting to dedicate this photo to my Grandmother who passed away.

I dedicate this image to my teacher Ms. U. Dutt who passed away today (06/06/15) ... She taught me in grade 9 and 10 and always encouraged us to do things differently... RIP Mam ..

Creativity – like many other things in life – doesn't always come to you automatically; Sometimes you need to just set the SWITCH to ON and GO!
This is my newest little critter. Isn't it cute? Someone said to me that it looks like an Ewok. I bought this kit from Emma's Bears here in Australia and while I am happy with the result, I haven't mastered the face sculpting sadly. It should have perfectly formed chubby cheeks. I need a lot more practice.

We are in complete lockdown until at least the end of August. We have to wear masks at all times and can't venture more than 5 klms from home. I haven't seen the family for over 5 weeks now and who knows when.
"Top 7 Creative Rules of Thumb:
1) The best way to get great ideas is to get lots of ideas and throw the bad ones away.
2) Create ideas that are 15 minutes ahead of their time...not light years ahead.
3) If at first you don't succeed, take a break.
4) If everyone says you are wrong, you're one step ahead. If everyone laughs at you, you're two steps ahead.
5) The answer to your problem "pre-exists." You need to ask the right question to reveal the answer
6) When you ask a dumb question, you get a smart answer.
7) Never solve a problem from its original perspective."
~ Charles Chic Thompson
Ps :- Write down your ideas before you forget them =Pp
An Afro-Colombian dancer of the La Yesquita neighborhood takes part in the San Pacho festival in Quibdó, Colombia. Every year at the turn of September and October, the capital of the Pacific region of Chocó holds the celebrations in honor of Saint Francis of Assisi (locally named as San Pacho), recognized as Intangible Cultural Heritage by UNESCO. Each day carnival groups, wearing bright colorful costumes and representing each neighborhood, dance throughout the city, supported by brass bands playing live music. The festival culminates in a traditional boat ride on the Atrato River, followed by massive religious processions, which accent the pillars of Afro-Colombian’s identity – the Catholic devotion grown from African roots. © Jan Sochor Photography

"Of course when I talk about "being creative," chances are that I am talking about something artistic. But, I think having that kind of bounds around a word keeps it from being accessible to everybody. A scientist is incredibly creative, just as is a mechanic and anyone else who spends their time doing typically left-brained things.
I chose "Boundless Creativity" for my tagline because to me, it's the essence of freedom."

Study of the day:
A scientific theory should it only predict the results of experiments on the world or should it also explain it? The question of accessibility of the real is asked.
Une théorie scientifique doit-elle seulement prédire les résultats des expériences sur le monde ou doit-elle aussi expliquer ce dernier ? La question de l'accessibilité du réel se trouve posée.

"Creativity with my failures are endless," perfectly captures how mistakes aren't roadblocks but fuel for innovation, providing infinite opportunities to learn, experiment, and discover unique solutions, making failure an essential, boundless resource for true creative growth, as seen in history's greatest innovators who embraced missteps. The watercolor painting was not good on paper ,,, put gesso over the work ....and used creativity , restore the eyes and textured background. Thanks for the visit have a nice day

Creativity, also called original thinking, creative thinking, inventiveness, constructive imagination or divergent thinking, is the ability to create, to innovate, to generate new ideas or concepts, or new associations between ideas and known concepts, which usually lead to new conclusions , solve problems and produce original and valuable solutions. Creativity is the production of an idea or a concept, a creation or a discovery that is new, original, useful and satisfies both its creator and others during some period.
Creativity or original thinking is a mental process that springs from the imagination and encompasses several intertwined mental processes. These processes have not been completely deciphered by physiology. The quality of creativity can be valued by the final result and this is a process that develops over time and that is characterized by originality, by adaptability and by its possibilities of concrete realization.
The human brain has two hemispheres with different competences between them and it seems that this difference of competences is unique to the human being. Although creativity also occurs in many animal species, their brains differ completely from ours, because they are specialized in responding to stimuli and visual, olfactory, etc.
