Skippy wonders if it was the best idea to camp out at Jurassic Beach.
I want to give a shout out to my buddy Zen Zarco who created the amazing T-Rex, the camping tent, the fence, as well as the kite. His store is called Boogers and you can find the items at Summerfest '14. Check out his Flickr stream here for more details. Also, don't forget to check out his amazing teddy bears and box cars at the Arcade!

Day 223. A light bulb moment.
Sad news this evening. It seemed fitting to dedicate this photo to my Grandmother who passed away.

I dedicate this image to my teacher Ms. U. Dutt who passed away today (06/06/15) ... She taught me in grade 9 and 10 and always encouraged us to do things differently... RIP Mam ..

This is my newest little critter. Isn't it cute? Someone said to me that it looks like an Ewok. I bought this kit from Emma's Bears here in Australia and while I am happy with the result, I haven't mastered the face sculpting sadly. It should have perfectly formed chubby cheeks. I need a lot more practice.

We are in complete lockdown until at least the end of August. We have to wear masks at all times and can't venture more than 5 klms from home. I haven't seen the family for over 5 weeks now and who knows when.
We need Art more than ever right now. It is clearly an integral part of the human condition; just look at the amount of creativity being pumped into your timeline right now.
Art helps us make sense of a senseless world and Art can be expressed in anything - don’t let anyone tell you otherwise!
- A homecooked meal, a shopping list, an arrangement of daffodils on your windowsill. Creativity has no definition and it certainly doesn’t have a word count! Embrace human expression and do whatever it takes to stay connected and we’ll get through this.
I’m working on three images at the moment, all in different stages of gestation plus a few other projects with potential. I did have a solo exhibition scheduled for April but that’s been understandably postponed due to government covid-19 guidelines on gatherings. We’re all in the same boat.
But I am curious; how did you express your creativity today?

This ice fishing hut on Lake Winnipeg in Manitoba, Canada had silhouetted cutouts on both sides - this one, a youngster with a fish, and one on the other side of a man sitting in a folding chair, fishing. Such creativity!
Lake Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
This is the third image in a series of images I shot in Manitoba in December, 2019 which won 1st Place in the Architecture category of the Sony World Photography Awards. The Awards ceremony and the exhibition have been cancelled, but winners will be announced on June 9.
SWPA has strict entry rules outlining when images can be shot and if they are published (publishing includes showing images on social media). As I shot these in December and had to submit them in mid-January I didn’t have a chance to show them online, so they were submitted as ‘unpublished’. I have received permission now to publish them on my website and on social media, so here you go.
I wrote a short blog post about this trip to Manitoba (and North Dakota) to photograph these ice fishing huts in December, 2019.
If you'd like, take a look at the the rest of the images in this ice fishing hut series.
"Top 7 Creative Rules of Thumb:
1) The best way to get great ideas is to get lots of ideas and throw the bad ones away.
2) Create ideas that are 15 minutes ahead of their time...not light years ahead.
3) If at first you don't succeed, take a break.
4) If everyone says you are wrong, you're one step ahead. If everyone laughs at you, you're two steps ahead.
5) The answer to your problem "pre-exists." You need to ask the right question to reveal the answer
6) When you ask a dumb question, you get a smart answer.
7) Never solve a problem from its original perspective."
~ Charles Chic Thompson
Ps :- Write down your ideas before you forget them =Pp

Creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes. Art is knowing which ones to keep. ~Scott Adams
This was taken on September 3rd. I know, I know. This is SO similar to this but when everything was in color, the yarn didn’t stand out enough. And vice versa when it was in black and white. And I like this so, SHH.
If this is too bright or “white”, tilt your screen back a bit (you’ve gone too far when you see the black glarey thing) because it looks way better when you have darker and blacker shades and when the paper looks less opaque. My screen is perfectly aligned and you know when yours is (kinda) when you can see the dark shades under my eyes.
I want this to be short and sweet but this is for a contest! And that scrunchie I was wearing in the picture got completely and utterly stretched out. I mean like, “I can wear this as a headband to work out or wash my face” stretched out. Like no more elastic. And I don’t mean a little hair tie. I mean retro huge scrunchies. Man, I have a lot of hair.
And thank you so much to Mell P for the testimonial<3
Press 'L'... Possibly?
I feel upset.
And no, not because of the scrunchie…

"Of course when I talk about "being creative," chances are that I am talking about something artistic. But, I think having that kind of bounds around a word keeps it from being accessible to everybody. A scientist is incredibly creative, just as is a mechanic and anyone else who spends their time doing typically left-brained things.
I chose "Boundless Creativity" for my tagline because to me, it's the essence of freedom."

"Creativity with my failures are endless," perfectly captures how mistakes aren't roadblocks but fuel for innovation, providing infinite opportunities to learn, experiment, and discover unique solutions, making failure an essential, boundless resource for true creative growth, as seen in history's greatest innovators who embraced missteps. The watercolor painting was not good on paper ,,, put gesso over the work ....and used creativity , restore the eyes and textured background. Thanks for the visit have a nice day
