After the post in the blog about organizing art supplies, I spent Saturday morning (today) organizing my creativity cupboard. I put most of the art supplies in boxes, so that I can remove them and take them to the kitchen table or my bedroom floor when I want to get creative. I thought I would share the photo because I love seeing how others organize all their stuff and find it really inspiring!

We all had to come up with our own definitions of creativity, writing it three times, three different sizes, three different types of media. And then find a home for each, somewhere around our lives.

My first effort was done with paint markers on a piece of paper from a MM journaling pad.

Using a fast shutter speed and high f-stop and a flash, I can make it look like it is night time. But this was done at 1 in the afternoon.

Building airplanes with Aidan, using the Lego Special 50 years edition. I much prefer the creativity and imagination required by the original Lego bricks, versus contemporary sets that contain "special" molded pieces and very few blocks.

Luay Dababneh, the painter at work.

this was taken during the making of the short film "Art Works" back in aughust 2006.

Directed by Dima Amr, this scene is one where the painter is painting his Muse, the widowed 20 something beautiful woman.

beauty is always there in everything... it's just that we need to 'explore' it...

I made this little drawing up myself and it perfectly describes me- creative! The writing says ' I may not have brains or boobs but i have creativity and i like me'.

A friend and I experimented with wetting old books, shaping and cutting them, then drying them (http://theshoppingsherpa.blogspot.com/2011/01/books-in-bath.html ).

These are the results...

Driving through JC and happened to see these. Caught my eye...everyone is entitled to an opinion.
