This shot was taken in a village not far away from Hyderabad. People were paking clay pots to sell at other places in the city.
I can just see the meeting now...
bureaucrat 1: What are we going to call this new building?
bureaucrat 2: Could we perhaps name it after the noble benefactor who financed it's construction?
bureaucrat 1: NO!
bureaucrat 3: What if we named it after an inspiring visionary who has shaped the progression of this field?
bureaucrat 1: CERTAINLY NOT!
bureaucrat 4: What about...engineering......TWO!
bureaucrat 1: I like it
bureaucrat 2: Yes!
bureaucrat 3: it has pizzaz, clever, especially because it's the second engineering building. And it certainly couldn't cause any confusion or undue complication when refering to rooms *inside* the building.
bureaucrat 2: hmmm, perhaps we could hide all the floormaps and number the rooms haphazardly with no particular ryhyme or reason?
bureaucrat 1: Perfect, that way navigation will only be possible through extensive experience and hard to come by insider knowledge. exquisite!
bureaucrat 5: Wait, what if we tore this entire concrete monstrosity down and replaced it with something that was interesting and visually inspiring, hell we could even use modern developments in energy conservation to make it environmentally sustainable. I mean we could use longstanding observations about innate human psychology to create a building that promoted physical and emotional health. In the long run the UC would save millions of dollars on energy and healthcare. I bet it would also attract the brightest and best students from around the world, improving our repuation and fulfilling our committment to educate the public.
bureaucrat 1: huh? i totally just zoned out during that.
bureaucrat 2: no i like the name. How about grey on grey for the sign?
bureaucrat 3: subtle...I love it! .....

Billy had the idea to let the girls paint their bedroom doors however they wanted, so I bought them some paint, laid down some tarp over the floor, and let them at it. I went out for lunch with Myrna while they were still working and they were done by the time I got home. I love the creativity.

I knew I wanted to do shoes before I attached legs...I've made that mistake before and was not doing it again. Much too awkward to work on Apoxy Sculpt while wrestling the second leg out of the way.... ahahha...oooooh.... clever me this time. For once.
had legs and arms and bits hanging off every thing whilst waiting for it to dry... later somebody mentioned using a coat hanger...hmmm silly me on that one..... I'm keeping notes...... next time, I aim to get it all right.... oh, yeh...sure.... like that'll ever happen. .
