"Its such a fragile balance

You need just enough pressure to keep you motivated and not bored but not so much that you get choked"

"Creativity is not like having a stroke of genius,

where a bulb lights up above our head...

It is not something that we are born with,

and take along with us to our graves...

It is an endless reservoir, an untapped potential within us,

we only need to know how to channelize it...

Because the bulb may get fused out soon,

but then we'll end up finding creativity in the darkness as well..."

And yes folks, that IS a cup holder from a car affixed to a crutch. On his other crutch, this guy had a clipboard.

albeit creative vandalism! Alex's attempts at making Sam wash his dishes get a makeover from yours truly!

My word was land. I used grass as the main focus as well as feet because they both go with the ground and the land.

The tools i used were liquify to fix the jeans, Hue/ Saturation, and different levels for the color. What I learned is that there are so many different things you can do to a photo to make it better.

The BlazingRat is a being forged of creativity and pure energy. Blaze was crafted to aid in an on going war against an evil force that seeks to rule the galaxy with an iron fist. Many years ago, in a large battle over his home planet, there was an incident with his ship and it exploded. As his body drifted though space, a salvage ship scooped him up. The warmth of the ships engines allowed him to heal at a rapid rate. However, as he awoke, he came to find he has no memories of why he was there or who he is.

Now he roams the galaxy still looking for anything to connect him to his past. Finally he learns that he is part of a group known as the Rat-Squad. Now his mission is to set out to find his missing comrades and stop this evil force once and for all.

She loved mixing the colors. Any parents out there twitching at the prospect of all those mixed-color globs of Play-Doh? ;-)

Where is the space for creativity in the city? In October 2019 the Friday Late headed beyond the museum walls to Hackney Wick, to explore how artists and designers are responding to the changing cityscape around them. Visitors took part in a pop-up creative studio to consider the transitory nature of physical space and experience performances about dwelling and displacement. They found out how creative communities are innovating, growing and claiming space in east London and beyond. This Friday Late was part of the pre-opening programme for the V&A East project – a new museum at Stratford Waterfront, and a collection and research centre at Here East, opening in 2023.

It's the first kid-designed, kid-built addition to the design lab: a pair of sound baffles created to absorb sound from the dj booth during the first middles school dance of the year. Thanks to the drama department for the fabric, and one of our families for the sewing machine that made the assembly of these baffles possible.
