Diese Veranstaltung bringt Entscheidungsträger, Studierende, Lehrende und Startups in Kontakt, um Innovation und Kreativität zu stimulieren.
Diese Form der Mobilität ist eine Herausforderung für die Menschheit: Dienstleistungen werden weltweit angeboten - egal ob man im Lungau, in London oder in Lima arbeitet. Ko-Operation heißt ab sofort: Wer kann weltweit auch das, was ich kann? Und wie kann ich mit diesen Menschen interagieren?

Creativity matters. On March 12, 2015 we partnered with The Walrus to host nine of Canada’s most creative minds, including five Western alumni, for an evening celebrating creativity in all forms. The event was followed by a spirited reception.

June 2014 CreativeMornings/Raleigh event (global theme: Minimal) with guest speaker Vansana Nolintha, who along with his sister, Vanvisa, co-owns Bida Manda Laotian Restaurant and Bar in downtown Raleigh. He studied Chemistry, Art and Design, and World Religious Studies at NC State University with the hope to become either a physician, a photographer, or a clothing designer. After many international service-learning experiences in more than 30 countries, Van switched his path entirely and went to Trinity College Dublin to study International Peace and Conflict Resolution concentrating in community building and nonviolent movements.
At the age of 25, Van returned to Raleigh in 2010 at the peak of the financial crisis and took another dramatic turn by opening one of the first Laotian Restaurants in the country in the controversial Moore Square District of downtown Raleigh.

Not only did my day start off amazing, but it ended amazing too. This is The Amity Affliction's autographs, (minus their drummer because he had to leave warped tour to heal, you probably know the story already anyways). This part of the day was the most hectic for me partly because this band definitely means the world to me and their music gets me through thick and thin but also because we had a lot of set overlaps at this time. My best friend that I went with really wanted to see her favourite band who played at the same time so we decided to split up for a couple of hours so I could go watch Amity and meet them at their tent after and she could see her favourite band (and go early to try to get a good spot in the crowd). Needless to say our plan worked out perfect. When I got to meet Amity, Joel was at the beginning of their merch table and I handed him my letter and asked for a hug. His smile when I gave him the letter was priceless, he signed my book and the poster and then I went on to the next person which was Ahren. Ahren decided to write this, needless to say I was honestly expecting an answer like this from him ha ha! Anyways, these guys were the first band I had met all day and it just made me so incredibly happy because usually when you meet bands its kind of a hi/bye ordeal but with these guys we actually got to talk and you got to see their personalities better. However, I had to somewhat rush through the signing because my other favourite band was about to play so I had to rush back over there then to their signing. I didn't get to talk to TAA as long as I wanted to or tell them everything I wanted to but with giving them the letter it didn't really bother me because I knew they would find out. Warped itself didn't go exactly as planned because it rained again (go figure) and a lot of the other sets/signings I would of really liked to have gone to overlapped but just with seeing and meeting both of these bands I couldn't have left any happier. It was also a nice change because the first time I saw Amity was a little over a year ago, and I didn't really know who they were because they opened for one of my favourite bands but their lyrics spoke to me and so did their performance. It was nice to finally see them and just know how much they earned being where they are.

Creativity is all about becoming a child again. It's about freeing yourself from all those boundaries life puts on you. Not learning how to solve complex problems, inequations & all that jazz.
Math test tomorrow. Sitting in bed reading those exercises & feeling the little creativity I still have diminishing bit by bit.

I wanted to put a little "I KILL YOU" above Pi's head =P but I decided it would be way too cheesy. The simpler the better, eh ? =P
"Yield in the Name of Creativity" was created by two professional artists and a team of youth artists as part of the Groundswell Summer Leadership Institute. During this seven week summer program, youth work with artists and community-based organizations, learn job skills and create public art throughout New York City.
This mural draws attention to traffic concerns surrounding Arts and Business High School. The school's location, adjacent to a major highway creates a complex street environment. By better identifying the building as a school zone, the artists hoped to encourage safer street behavior. NYCDOT Safety Education led a number of workshops where the youth recorded vehicular speeds and observed driver and pedestrian behaviors. The artists and youth researched traffic safety issues near the building and worked with school administration to understand the goals, values and identity of the school.
