I took my kids there last month and we had a blast! The look in their faces was "pure joy" when all the characters came to life... priceless!

"Pure Joy”

"The day is not far off when the economic problem will take the back seat where it belongs, and the arena of the heart and the head will be occupied or reoccupied, by our real problems - the problems of life and of human relations, of creation and behavior and religion. - John Maynard Keynes"

It is time to stop splitting hairs. It is time to act!

People are unique in his or her own way, especially in their thought process. Imagination is like having your own little world inside your head, triggering ideas and creativity. It is the ability of the brain to be resourceful and original, setting your mind free to connect the unconnected. To mix past and current experiences with possibilities, and hopefully have fun along this process!

This is a little tribute to one of my favorite artist of all times. Charles Chaplin.

The Gold Rush is a 1925 silent film comedy written, produced, directed by, and starring Charlie Chaplin in his Little Tramp role (and happens to be one of my favorite along with modern times and the dictator).

One of the most famous scenes happens when the Little Tramp, starving, has to eat his own boot. Chaplin declared several times that this was the film that he most wanted to be remembered for.

COCA-COLA SIDE OF LIFE ART REMIX

www.coca-cola-art.com

Since its early days, Coca-Cola has played an eminent role in the visual culture of several generations.

By continually challenging artists and agencies to create images for its wide range of communication, Coca-Cola also functioned as a catalyst for creative expressions, right ideas at the right time…

The original Coca-Cola illustrations were drawn by masters as Haddon Sundblom or Gil Elvgren with their loving, magical touch. Some of the early Coke images are playful, romantic, cartoony, imaginative; others are trendy and stylized but they are always signs of their times.

The concept of the Remix project is simple. Every selected artist makes a “Coke Side of Life” Remix of historic Coca-Cola visuals and creates a new visual inspired by the brand and its soul, a thematic interpretation.

Twinflex style!

"A twin-lens reflex camera (TLR) is a type of camera with two objective lenses of the same focal length. One of the lenses is the photographic objective or "taking lens" (the lens that takes the picture), while the other is used for the viewfinder system, which is usually viewed from above at waist level. In addition to the objective, the viewfinder consists of a 45-degree mirror (the reason for the word reflex in the name), a matte focusing screen at the top of the camera, and a pop-up hood surrounding it. The two objectives are connected, so that the focus shown on the focusing screen will be exactly the same as on the film."

Every one of us has a dark, UGLY side, and sooner or later we have to confront it...

These are 5" (12cm) tall action figures.... the 100mm 2.8 really worked hard here! love this lens. Took me while as well to try to figure out the lighting here (since venom is so dark... no pun intended)
