**Full Disclosure: This is one of my favourite captures and I love the way the way the camera captured the ripple and the sinking coin. This is not a doomsday post, but with the markets around the world crashing and burning the last few days, the talks of GFC II are everywhere. I don't claim to kno ... Sidpicky

yesterday may 5th was the day the moon was closest to the earth for this year, called the supermoon, making the moon appear 14% larger. the moon did not look at all different to me, but i wanted to take a picture of this "supermoon" nonetheless. this is the site i normally see when i draw the curtains and retreat to bed every night.
my camera's battery has been dead for the past couple of days and i have no idea where the charger is, so this photo was taken w/ my iphone.
i normally shoot using my macro lens for product photos and almost never take night photos, so this perspective is definitely out of the norm for me.
The city of Barcelona is always worth the visit. This being my sixth time in town, I decided to make "Creative Travel" my motto, exploring the beautiful backstreets of the old town in new ways, for instance during a "Devouring Barcelona" Food Tour, a fashion or a bicycle tour. I also went dancing & cooking , plus on a very beautiful day walk around charming Barceloneta ..!
Check out my travel blog at www.creativelena.com about more tips & insights as to what to see & do in the capital city of Catalunya. Enjoy :)
