My feet are so damn stained. Guess that's what I get for walking around barefoot since I was a kid. :P

From the famous Saint Clair locality in Schuyllkill Co., Pennsylvania: Saint Clair [St. Clair]. Pottsville, PA, topographic quadrangle. 40 deg. 44’ 20” N. Lat., 076 deg 08’ 52” W. Long. Ca. 2.7 mi due NE of Rt. 61 and St. Clair, southeast side or road, just ENE of gunnery range, old anthracite strip mine area, barren exposed shale metamorphosed [almost slate]. [Blythe township?] Road locally called Burma Road. Geology: Underlying Shale - Bucks Mountain (#5) Coal Bed; Llewellyn Formation; Pottsville Group; Pottsvillian Series. They are distinctive because of the white sulfur compound that has replaced the carbon, found essentially only at this locality. Also, the rock is somewhat metamorphosed, making it almost slate-like.

Please help us ID these plant fossils!

I have to admit, I absolutely love this ad. The interaction, the design sense, the message, the technological wizardry that makes it go. It's spot on. Well done, Adobe.

Of course this was based on the work of James White with my own touch.

With all of the creative fields I work in and have passion for including photography, graphic design, web design, illustration, and fine art, I draw the most inspiration and feel the most "me" in nature. From color palettes, to lines and curves, textures, balance and chaos, to simply breathing in the fresh air to clear my mind, it all inspires me, gives me joy, and fills me with peace. I'm also really happy it's the weekend. ;)

The city of Barcelona is always worth the visit. This being my sixth time in town, I decided to make "Creative Travel" my motto, exploring the beautiful backstreets of the old town in new ways, for instance during a "Devouring Barcelona" Food Tour, a fashion or a bicycle tour. I also went dancing & cooking , plus on a very beautiful day walk around charming Barceloneta ..!
