Created on accident. About 10 or 11 seconds into a 13-second exposure, I started to get wet from the spray of someone cleaning the plaza where I was standing. I grabbed my tripod and moved!

In the 1800s, a shortage of space on the beach for the shore-based fishing fleet created restrictions on the space for fishing storage sheds, where nets and other equipment were kept dry.
This resulted in fishermen with only eight or nine square feet to build to design storage vertically. These thin, timber storage sheds up to three stories high were used for storing and mending the nets. They were known locally as net shops.
The sheds were originally built on the shingle-covered beach mounted on timber posts or rocks to allow the seawater to go underneath. Over the years as more shingle has built up and the beach has widened, water no longer reaches the huts.
These unique examples of net shops are located near the East Hill funicular railway, and have been preserved with help from the local council and English Heritage. Because of their architectural uniqueness, the Hastings net shops are listed as Grade II.

Prompt - 16:9 ultra-photorealistic 64K 100% genuine cinematic photograph. Four elite Amazon warrior trainees rest on a vast obsidian crystal outcrop beside a luminous cobalt-blue underground river inside a colossal ancient cavern. Their physiques are naturally athletic, shaped by climbing mountains, hunting and wilderness survival—broad elegant shoulders, sculpted arms, powerful backs, defined waists, strong legs and functional feminine musculature without bodybuilder proportions. Each woman has a unique identity: AD5 (champagne-blonde waves, porcelain skin), AD3 (deep bronze complexion, voluminous natural curls), CHIARA (rich bronze complexion, elegant defined curls), and ROSA (warm caramel complexion, distinctive double-bun braids). Preserve each avatar's exact facial geometry, skin tone, eyes, lips and hairstyle. They wear unique combinations of black leather, turquoise silk wraps, carved bone ornaments, snake skull pendants, beadwork, arm wraps and tribal jewellery. A magnificent sleek black panther crouches alert at the edge of the obsidian, watching schools of tiny silver fish beneath the crystal-clear water. Massive cavern walls disappear into drifting turquoise mist, illuminated by distant shafts of mystical white-blue light filtering through unseen openings high above. Wet obsidian reflects subtle highlights while fine mist creates immense atmospheric depth. Captured using a Phase One XF IQ4 150MP medium-format camera, Schneider Kreuznach 55mm LS lens, f/8, ISO100, physically accurate HDR lighting, authentic optical depth, true photographic colour science, IMAX documentary realism, Netflix fantasy adventure live-action still, National Geographic quality, razor-sharp focus, ultra-realistic textures, absolutely no painting, no illustration, no CGI look, no text, no logos, no watermark.

Hundreds of gorse fires have created havoc across the island of Ireland for the better part of a month. Gorse is a wildflower that grows abundantly all over the country. It is native to Ireland and is quite invasive. The amount of gorse coupled with extremely dry conditions create perfect conditions for wildfires to start. Since Monday 1st May 2017 – 8th May 2017 Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service (NIFRS) has attended 511 gorse fires of which 466 were started deliberately.
Most of the 30 or so ongoing fires are around the outside portion of the island are in Roscommon and Sligo. The most significant fire is in Cloosh Valley, Galway, which has burned 3,500 hectares (8648 acres) of forest and bog land. The 4,000 hectare (9884 acre) forest is one of the largest in Ireland. Firefighters are battling to bring it under control after poor conditions allowed the fire to increase in intensity.
