STICK 'EM UP!
This is based off the Indian (Native American) I made. I had wanted to use the clip plate as spurs before this but thought they'd be too small, but I think they work perfectly in this scale.
Built for Iron Builder; the piece for this round is the medium azure 1x1 plate with clip.
Sew me, show me, throw me in the pickup
Take me, break me, make me what you need
It's safe to say we're made for one another
And you'll never fall if you just stick with me
Fit me, sit me, get me how you want me
Wrap me, strap me, slap me on your steed
Can't believe I'm out here flying with a Roper.
Oh this afterlife's sure looking up for me
Loping, roping, hoping that you're happy
Racing, placing, chasing all your dreams
Makes me think if I'd lived life a little better
Would I've come back as a pair of cowboy jeans
Inspired by a Garth Brooks tune.
What does this inspire you to come back as, and for what reason?
So this one has been sitting on my desktop for some time but I completely forgot about it. I guess it is my big boy's turn for portaits this week. We got these boots in Nashville on a trip we took to the USA a few years back. We got the hat there too. It know nothing of the "country" culture so it was certainly a ton of fun to see. He really enjoyed dressing up in his "cowboy" outfit-practically every day last year. He was really cool here in Europe with REAL cowboy boots and all the kids wanted to try them on. ;) Sorry for the lack of attention on your streams. I've been extrememly busy lately (sigh). I'll catch up soon!! ;)
[After surprising a couple of travelers on a dusty trail and relieving them of their silver our bandit here gets a surprise of his own…]
Of course the Dino is a re post but now I have included with it a small Cowboy diorama.
MRL's Logan based 844 local heads west through the ranch country of the Jefferson River valley at Willow Creek, MT.
Hope you are having an awesome evening!! :)
(I got to take some photos for the local paper today. As I was leaving the gate to hurry and get home so I could get a shot over to the editor for tomorrow's edition, I turned and saw this and HAD to get this shot. My favorite of the evening!) :)
This cowboy sign is big! About 10 ft. tall outside of Arco, Idaho. He looks like he has a drop-shadow but it's just the other side of the sign which is his back side.

I'm Alberta Bound
This piece of heaven that I've found
Rocky Mountains and black fertile ground
Everything I need beneath that big blue sky
Doesn't matter where I go
This place will always be my home
Yeah I've been Alberta Bound for all my life
And I'll be Alberta Bound until I die.
It's a pride that's been passed down to me
Deep as coal mines, wide as farmer's fields
Yeah, I've got independence in my veins
Maybe it's my down-home redneck roots
Or these dusty 'ol Alberta boots
But like a Chinook wind keeps coming back again...
