Another exercise in book cover design, again just for the fun of it. This time it's an abstract piece for a nonexistent sci-fi book, in the design style of a Hungarian publishing house because besides giving my first ever try to this kind of abstract I also wanted to test my current brand-sensitivity, trying to match somebody else's general style but applying my own take on it.
Yeah, I've neved done anything this abstract before for a book cover.
I wonder what you see into the cover illustration, if anything. Will you tell me?

Tel Aviv based Magazine
by Moshik Nadav
24//7 is a Tel Aviv (City in Israel) based weekly Magazine.
Tel Aviv is a non stop city that have attractions around the clock.
I used that fact and I created a magazine that gives the reader the best attractions that happen in the city.
The reader can find his attraction by the hour of the day and by that, he can see
what day the attractions is occurs.
The Magazine was printed on a News Paper in broadsheet size (spreads: 81x57 cm)
Enjoy.
Invitation for a Chinese New Year themed Birthday Party! Graphic Design / Cover Design and photography by me.
The cover features the direct but rather beautiful photography of Carlos Batts. A print of his was then photographed wrapped in plastic film. He seemed quite pleased with the end result.
Pages from the graphic work section; lithographs were shown as knockouts, with the paper deckle painstakingly maintained — an effort to tie these works more closely to the more organic wool constructions earlier.

全球磁變、氣候異常、強震不斷,種種災情接連而來;

Recent art direction and design for John Burnside's autobiography. Featuring sumptuous, rigorously attentiive photography by Penny Cottee. Amazing how long it takes to consciously create squalor.
Ms. Watt’s medium for the past several years has been wool: specifically, second-hand wool blankets scrounged from thrift stores. The blanket, of course, is a potent symbol for the history of Anglo-Native relations, but in Ms. Watt’s hands it is more than that. She sees blankets as markers of the private histories of all peoples: we all carry memories of a favorite blanket; moth-holes, cigarette burns, patterns of wear on the binding become a map of experience. We opened and closed Almanac with details of blankets pulled from Ms. Watt’s stock to give the reader a sense of the material made image, and to acclimate him to the narrow color range the blankets impose.
