Low flying cloud above the ground
Invading the air without a sound
Over the fields of vivid green
Like a pure white daytime dream
That does float, that is found
Flying low across the ground

Across the wildness of the countryside
Where deer's roam and horses ride
Through the fields covered in fallen leaves
Blown from the branches of the trees
That spread their colours from side to side
Across the wildness of the countryside
Two sides of natures coin
As trees and ground, there they join
To create a scene, where is seen
Natures beauty, wild and green
Beyond the sharpness of the wire
Ascending the fields that get higher
Under the skies, where clouds float free
Now does stand an ancient tree
Ruling the Kingdom of the green
Its blooming limbs are now seen
By the eyes that now do look
At this page from natures book
As the fields, climb higher and higher
Where beauty grows beyond the sharpest wire
Through the gap, now is seen
A tree lined path of vivid green
That stretches far from the near
Until it does seem to disappear
Smaller and smaller, as nature does send
Wild beauty from it's very end
In the countryside , now are seen
Leaves that once hung coloured green
That are blown gently on the breeze
As Autumns glory invades the trees
Turning green leaves into brown
Before silently sending them down
In the countryside , where they did bloom
To beautifully decorate, sweet natures room

My second visit to the Mill Pool near Beeston Castle on a much brighter day !
Northamptonshire is a rural county on the edge of both the Midlands and East Anglia. With just six main towns - Northampton is by far the largest - and no cities, its predominant feature is gently rolling farmland. Once known for its shoe industry, cheap foreign imports have now taken over and the numerous small shoe factories either converted or demolished. The large steelworks at Corby has closed, though it still has its tube manufacturing plant. With the M1 and the A14 both crossing the county, Northamptonshire has become a major warehousing and distribution centre with new warehouses seemingly being opened virtually every week. Despite this activity and the government's insistence that thousands of new homes be built here, it remains - at least for the moment - a relatively quiet backwater. It was known as the County of Squires and Spires, after its large country houses and estates and numerous beautiful churches. It is indeed still the county of Bridget Jones.
In between, across the green
Branches bare they are seen
Reaching out, spreading wide
Wild beauty in the countryside
