There was lots of wonderful countryside to see on the rail trail trip

This farmland is on the side of the Lune Valley, a few miles from Lancaster. In the far distance is Morecambe Bay, and if you increase the size of the picture you might just be able to make out the nuclear power stations at Heysham. These are just left of centre, on the horizon.

A brief blast of winter sun greeted the arrival of 68009 Titan at Lea Marston heading 4Z92 South Bank to Daventry heading to Duddeston to run round.
