Summer evening walks on the countryside are the best.

Pamplona, summer 2016.

There is a few rock formations around NZ that are worthy. While this one is not spectacular, IT was unusual because of the location to me. I am assuming it is limestone.

This farmland is on the side of the Lune Valley, a few miles from Lancaster. In the far distance is Morecambe Bay, and if you increase the size of the picture you might just be able to make out the nuclear power stations at Heysham. These are just left of centre, on the horizon.

The Crown Inn in Groombridge, East Sussex.

Approaching the end of autumn; trees are bare and the ground is covered in a blanket of leaves.

Labour Day is a day off work, and this time, I decided to drive around the Croatia-Slovenia border countryside. We've ended in Ozalj, a town on the Kupa River, with a castle/fortress built on a cliff above the Kupa River.

Across the wildness of the countryside

Where deer's roam and horses ride

Through the fields covered in fallen leaves

Blown from the branches of the trees

That spread their colours from side to side

Across the wildness of the countryside

Stripped naked by the Winter breeze

My cloud it grows between your trees

Filled with juices waiting to flow

Down on your branches, ready to sow

Seeds of life , shooting without a sound

Between your trees, soaking your wild ground

A typical view of villages in the Lake Districts, Cumbria, England

Beyond the sharpness of the wire

Ascending the fields that get higher

Under the skies, where clouds float free

Now does stand an ancient tree

Ruling the Kingdom of the green

Its blooming limbs are now seen

By the eyes that now do look

At this page from natures book

As the fields, climb higher and higher

Where beauty grows beyond the sharpest wire

Šmarje pri Jelšah, Slovenia

Through the gap, now is seen

A tree lined path of vivid green

That stretches far from the near

Until it does seem to disappear

Smaller and smaller, as nature does send

Wild beauty from it's very end

A peaceful rural landscape featuring a small house nestled among trees with an expansive field in the foreground under a cloudy sky.
