The yellow flowers are orange daylily (Hemerocallis fulva). The flower buds after sundried are being used as food, usually as a soup ingredient, by the local people.

The Radicofani Fort/Fortress has the most spectacular view of the surrounding Tuscan countryside... Unfortunately, I didn't take any photos of the view!!!

This farmland is on the side of the Lune Valley, a few miles from Lancaster. In the far distance is Morecambe Bay, and if you increase the size of the picture you might just be able to make out the nuclear power stations at Heysham. These are just left of centre, on the horizon.
