On the way back from Piha, I asked Tash to stop so I could take a picture of the beautiful countryside. It was here that I met Louie the Bohemian who was walking up the road. He was a wonderful old gentleman who told me how he was kicked out of Bohemia after the war and came to New Zealand with a buddy who had family there. He was too shy to have his photo taken.

When we got back to town, we had Burger Fuel for dinner (mmmm... kumara!) and saw The Stepford Wives. Then we had coffee with Tash's friends Jo and Frances.

About three fourths of the way to Kokadiki on the southern side of the island, we stopped at a little ga station out in the middle of nowhere. I took shots of the surrounding countryside. LOTS of olive trees.
