Couldnt wait to finally take this shot. I cant get the marker off my toes now though so they're still smiling.
OK guys, I need your help. Tomorrow im going to shoot in a professional studio for the first time ever. I've never used flash equipment/lights before so I was hoping to get some tricks and tips from you. I will be shooting my two friends who will have their hair cut short to make wigs for cancer patients. How do I make them look as good as possible? There will be some other people present too, and they all think I've shot in a studio before so I have dont want to make a fool of myself.
Any advice to help me out?

I couldnt help but being drawn to red color in the composition. I thought by isolating the red it would tell the story in a more interesting way. The shop was on the docks at Boothbay harbor in Maine.

ANYWAY: this is my favorite teddy. his name is Gizmo and he is very special to me. he's a build-a-bear..which is why he's wearing a shirt and a guitar. haha
i got very itchy laying down in the woods in a dress..barefoot. haha..anything for a good shot though right? [:

Couldnt resist sending the drone over the falls with the autumn colours and the light snow!
I've probably spent nearly £10 visiting these falls over the years(£1.50 entry fee now £2). Its a beautiful place but from a photographers point of view the compositions are limited/samey. Then i find myself passing after heavy rain, autumn, winter, snow and i cant resist a little nose around. The guy that runs the place is normally in a little booth operating the turnstile, but now he has fitted contactless payment, genius! Saying that I wonder if you could get into the falls at night for a bit of light painting? Sounds like i need to spend another £2

I couldnt believe how free and alive I felt in a place so remote from noise, people and well pretty much anything really.
The light moon was my friend, the silence my comfort. I could think, feel or say anyhting without fear of well anything really.
I grew at Lake Mungo. I learned that I am so incredibly important to me, yet must realise how insignificant I am to the universe. Therefor it deserves, in fact commands our respect. How can we be so ignorant to think we can behave however we want, with such unreal contempt for nature, to the earth, that is so so old and wise, without being spat out like the tiny little pimples that we are.
The Aboriginal people survived as a fully functioning civilization for ( I now believe) more than 65,000 years. Through ice ages, massive centuries of drought, ice, flooding and desert and yet were still here when the white man came only 200 years ago. They were desimated. Killed, and stolen from there own people. Desimated.
Why could we not learn from them. Why could we not look at how they lived and survived in the most harsh continent on the planet.
Ahhh, the age old questions. This place makes you think. I would encourage anyone who has not been away to a remote place, to go, enjoy and think.

Couldnt believe our luck when this beauty just turned up. I had noticed on RTT that a Crewe Electric-Wembley Intercity Depot was a runner, we had heared that 92020 was due South at some point, and the Gbrf loco, out of service for 20 years or so, came around the corner, BONUS !!!!!!
I couldnt wait to put this one up, this is straight from my camera, I am away from home for a few days and have no editing tools around, I will prob play around with some more shots when I get home and try and improve this if poss..lol! I just love the sun light through the windows in the barn.
when we couldnt sleep on very hot nights when I was a young child my dad used to drive us all down to this jetty and we'd swim late into the night in the Swan River. it felt incredibly special to be out swimming in the river on a school night and a memory to be savoured.
Superb double arc at sunrise. Even with the wide-angle lens I couldnt frame it all and the rain prevented multiple shots

I built this little scene last night to take some stress off my shoulders with finals coming right around the corner.

There are several missing frames from this sequence. I just couldn't fit them all in without it looking too messy. This is some lake in Texas that my family went to for our family reunion. As you can see, we are not wearing life vests and there are no lifegaurds. It made it that much funner. The lake was so tempting after dinner and we just couldnt resist.
This is my sister getting blobbed by my two brothers! Both of my brothers fell in the water! The person under the tower is a second cousin, I think.
From this, I have learned that a tripod would of made it a TON easier to stitch together in post. Ill remember to bring it next time.

Couldnt think of a better name other than wings on a blind man so it will do for now. He kind of looks like he could be blind with his all black eyes. Possibly a new character! I will have characters coming out of my ears soon!!

She just arrived yesterday (Thanks Michaela!) and today i just couldnt resist doing her repaint. While she was in transit, i was planning on using berries and nudes for color, though i would still have to see her skin tone if it will work. and it did. Now she's my african queen, and cant wait for her to be my fitter. :D
