Yes! I couldnt believe it when I drove down a country lane and was met with a view of this amazing cabbage field! Its a pity that the stuck the lighthouse and the tower so close to it!! Lol!
Rockabill Lighthouse built in 1855, stands on the island after which it is called, 3km out in the Irish sea.It is visible from the fishing village of Skerries in north County Dublin. The island is listed as having a population of 2 inhabitants and if I had my way it would soon be 3!
The Martello Tower [ Napoleonic Tower ] was built in 1803 by the English who ruled this country at the time, as part of a series of towers along the coast to warn and defend against any invasion that might come from Napoleon Bonaparte. Unfortunately, in spite of so many promises they didnt arrive. I think after that they just took up Rugby!

August 12: We couldnt get a decent connection both here in the house and in the office. According to our ISP 2 Pacific submarine cables are down and are thus affecting the performance of the internet service in the Philippines. Promise to catch up when service normalizes. Cheers everyone.

I know! Its supposed to be a serious study of some Pyramidal Orchids but I just couldnt resist the title really. I do wish I had my Mum to cuddle me now.
I walked the sand dunes for hours last Tuesday looking for orchids and I was well rewarded with a group of 30 in one area.I have reported them to the National Floral Biodiversity Office [ Link Below ] with a grid reference of their location. Truly precious natural beauties that need to be cherished.

Running about 25 minutes late, 47712 / 47593 top & tail the 08.35 Skipton - Appleby, finding a brief shaft of light as they cross Ribblehead Viaduct on Sat 29th August 2020.
See now I know what you're all thinking... "Here we go, another Gerbera from Karen" But there is a sweet little story to go with this one :p
Before I took the last pink Gerbera shot, I looked everywhere for a bright red one and couldnt find one anywhere....
Last week my wonderful daughter came home with a huge bunch of flowers for me, full of red Gerbera. She got them for me so I could take the shots I wanted in the first place, bless her!
I wasn't going to post any of them yet (was gonna give you all a rest) but she keeps asking when am I going to put her flower shots on... So there you go!!!

Couldnt Sleep, So I thought I would visit a few Fall Sims. I found this beautiful windmill at Luane's World. So pretty and so peaceful. If you have never been to this sim, you are missing out! So many gorgeous photography spots. I'll leave the LM below.

I couldnt manage a whole reflection of this wonderful place due to the water been on the main road and traffic constantly passing through it! I did mange to capture two seperate images though which I have blended together as seen here;)
I couldnt sleep, so I figured I would visit some Fall/Autumn sims. I was at Luane's World, and amazed at how gorgeous it was. I saw this house sitting across the water and just had to take a picture.

Couldnt resist a little trip down to Marazion last night although I wasnt sure the conditions would be any good. Actually turned out better than expected and when the light did break through it was pretty ok. If nothing else it was a pleasant way to spend an evening clambering about on the rocks.
Another scene ive shot many times , i usually prefer monochrome for this but i couldnt resist a colour edition with the incredible sunsets we have had this week.
I couldnt help it, had to mess with my chest in this dress.

Last one honest , i just couldnt resist just one more from the epic aurora the other night. This one is taken from below the house on the nearby rocks, from this POV you can easily see the extent of the colours in the sky, and if you look in the 2.30 position to the right of the cottage , you can just see the andromeda galaxy, the milky way is also visable overhead, just a shame the prominent gas cloud was not there . I illuminated the foreground rocks on this shot with a flashgun, this is a single image , straight from lightroom, no blending in photoshop etc, thanks for taking the time to look, fave , and comment, and to all my flickr friends , have a great christmas!
