I'd wanted to push the limits, to see what this greenhouse could do, but saturday night I broke down and put a heater in there. And a good thing, too, or I'm afraid all would have been lost, as it reached 37 degrees F in there, even with the heater on full blast, by Sunday morning (our so-called avg. last frost date).
Neighbors down the road had 25 and I suspect we may have even gone lower.
Despite being covered with sheets most of the zinnias and cosmos sulphureus didn't make it, and eve E's burr oak tree was affected and the cole crops are OK but weren't thrilled. After the disappointment, am trying now to focus on what did make it through unscathed.
