Once again in the splendid Circeo National Park. It wasn't a good day for photography, few flowers and many dry plants for the heat of summer but, fortunately, the light and shadows created a magical palette of opportunities.
An old dairy farm no longer in use shrouded in snow near Blanchardville, Wisconsin.
Sadly, since this photo was taken the barn has fallen into ruin. Only some timbers and a skeleton of the barn's frame remains.

Another nice sunset from balcony. On the balcony with my cats waiting for the Sun to play its games with the clouds. This year there are many very particular sunsets and I am taking advantage of the situation.

Spent the day at the lake with family on a beautiful day in-between rainy days. You can see how much rain we've had by the water level around the trees. Sacandaga Lake in Broadalbin, NY.

Hvar is the sunniest and greenest of the Croatian islands. Called the ‘Croatian Madeira’, Hvar receives 2724 hours of sunshine each year. The stunning interior is a panorama of lavender fields, peaceful villages and pine-covered hills.
Between protective pine-covered slopes and the azure Adriatic, medieval Hvar town exudes more than a whiff of Venice. It was under Venetian rule that Hvar’s citizens developed the fine stone-carving skills that resulted in a profusion of beautifully ornamented buildings. Hvar’s wide harbour extends its open arms to the sea while a long seaside promenade, dotted with small rocky beaches, stretches from end to end.

Lake Thomas A Edison drought & late summer, not like that today [2024]. High Sierra Nevada above Fresno. This is normally a lake, reservoir for Fresno electric, originally powered streetcars and lit the city.
