It was a calm, unusually calm evening along the shore of Lake Erie. The water barely moving, no other sounds to be heard. A cloud layer arriving from the west surrounded everything in shades of gray. Daylight was quickly surrendering the rule to the darkness of the night. Threatening cliffs rising high ... #etbtsy
... and there, high above the lake a hint of light flickered through the trees, momentarily disappearing, then ...
As the sun sets over the sand dunes of the Thar desert of Rajasthan, the camel caravan prepares to camp before the cold of the desert night sets in.
I captured this shot close to the India-Pakistan border, after attending the annual Desert Festival and Camel show, held in Jaisalmer. If you visit Rajasthan, I highly recommend spending a night or two in a desert camp and exploring the Sam dunes on camelback, it's an experience out of this world!

Walking on the watershed between the ravines "Barranco de los Cernicalos" and "Barranco de la Breña" (Gran Canaria, Canary Islands) in a lush nature made by recent rains between ancient hydraulic works and history.
The red-legged seriema (Cariama cristata) is a large, omniverous bird native to central South America. They are territorial and will aggressively defend their territory.

A splendid walk through the woods of the Ernici mountains, near the small medieval village of Vico in Lazio. The colors of autumn have completely enveloped us, giving us sweet emotions and beautiful memories.
