A new year, a new 366 photo-a-day goal. 366 because 2020 is leap year. I didn't quite manage a photo a day in 2019 and I won't beat myself up if I don't complete it this year again, but at least it's a goal to work toward. These tractor or wagon wheel rims sit outside an Antique Shop in the downtown area.
A lifebelt hanging by a lake on an early autumn morning at the Northern Finland. The sun is slowly rising in the background.
Scenic view of Ponte Nafonso near Noia, Galicia, captured at low tide with the moon rising in the evening sky, surrounded by marshland and autumn colors, offering ample copy space.
The beautiful fishing village of Sakrisoy with vivid yellow rorbuer cabins on a small island with the mountain cliff in a background and beautiful reflection in turqoise water. Moskenes Island, Lofoten Archipelago, Nordland, Norway. Long exposure and wide angle shot with moving cloud and water, foreground of rock and grasses.

Street photography in Zurich, Switzerland. The different leading lines seem to be confusing for the searching man.
Twice a year, on a few days, the sun sinks on the opposite shore of the elongated lake. This means that the warm colors of the sunset are reflected throughout the lake. However, the mountains prevent it from "sinking" completely into the lake.
The calm lake level made it possible to stand a bit in the water and hold the camera close above the surface to enhance the effect a bit more.
The picture was taken close above the water. In the foreground, the waves spread out in circles around the points where a stone has been thrown across and touched the surface.

A young energetic Golden Retriever running along the side of a farm pond with a whimsical expression. Shot in late afternoon golden hour light in Redding California, USA.
Walking in the Circeo National Park. The amazing world under the trees… I’m fascinated by mushrooms and their ability to grow wherever there is shade and humidity, their shapes and colors, their tenacity. I don’t know them, I look at them, I admire them and I try to steal an image to take with me.
An old, broken down shack on Montana's prairie outside of the small town of Winifred.
UPDATE (10/12/2014): I drove by this same shack last week and saw a man standing next to it. I wondered what he was doing. When I returned from my trip down that rural Montana road this shack and fallen down. I was a little sad.

The Lake of Nemi. Above you can see the profile of the city of “Genzano di Roma”. It is a volcanic lake and was a popular place of entertainment and holiday of the ancient Romans. Legend has it that there are two fantastic ships sunk in the wash. In fact, the Emperor Caligula had two wonderful ships built to be used as accommodation during his visits to the lake and were sunk at his death by the Senate of Rome. Recovered in 1932 with great engineering work, they were destroyed in a fire in 1944 due to war.
I like the idea of living in this little out of the way croft on the edge of this wilderness .
I could just imagine my self wakening up every day and planning a photograph shoot some where . Scotland is full of scenes like this , no wonder it is a mecca for photographers .

Bruarfoss, una de esas joyas, un poco mas escondida que el resto, que tiene Islandia.
Desde que han cerrado el acceso desde una urbanización privada toca andar unos 45 minutos para acceder a ella. Pero merece la pena, de verdad.
