In the background the Circeo’s Cliff in a cloudy sunset at the beach of “Lido di Latina” on the Tyrrhenian Sea. And a lot of shells in the foreground.

Walking into the Circeo National Park, always I can find something interesting.

The long exposure photography is a great technique to tell, in a different way, the changing and fast game of the ocean on the volcanic rocks that challenge it.

A nice walk, under the rain in the park called “Jardin Canario” a lovely and amazing botanic park in the Tafira area Gran Canaria (Canary Islands).

Every winter my wife and I put out mesh “socks” filled with nyjer seed. The lesser goldfinches (and a few other finch species) show up in droves. When the lesser show up in mid to late winter they are all fairly drab colored. However, as spring approaches the males transform into the vibrant yellow breeding coloration seen here.

My mom is Ukrainian, my dad was Russian, and I’m Belarusian. How to live with all of that

Walking around in the Playa del Hombre, Gran Canaria (Canary Islands) area, with my old & light camera, looking for a new inspirational way to see the world. Lines, colours, contrasts…

While paddling my kayak in Baum Lake (Shasta County, California, USA) I spotted this Great Blue Heron standing proud and looking rather regal in the warm late afternoon light amid a large patch of dry teasel. My low vantage point, sitting right on the water, coupled with the slightly elevated bank added the bird’s proud appearance, at least in my humble opinion.

The heavy mist has covered the potato fields in the rural Finland. The distant barn houses stand out in the white landscape.

The village of Gourdon is perched on a dizzying peak of 760 m and overlooks the Loup Valley. This location has earned it the nickname of "Eagle's Nest". It is part of the 149 most beautiful villages in France and has two flowers in the Entente Florale.

The light from the rising sun catching on the red standstone pinnacles (hoodoos) at Bryce Canyon National Park, Utah

After sunset, in full blue hour the nice profile of the Circeo’s Promontory from the Lake of Fogliano in the Circeo National Park.

A moment of tranquility and serenity along the bank of the great Po River, near Ferrara (Italy) my hometown. It is the largest river in Italy, approximately 652 km long, from the Western Alps to the Adriatic Sea. Here it is large, calm and fascinating but always powerful and dangerous. The place where I take the photo (a long exposure shot), is located near the village of Ravalle, on a nice houseboat of a friend of mine.

Salt camels caravan. Those Afar men still work on the salted lake near the eritrean border in Ethiopia, at 120 meters below sea level, one of the hottest place on earth. Every day apart friday, day off, thousands of camels bring salt to the markets.

Exploring the “Cumbre” of Gran Canaria (Canary Islands) in a lush nature made by recent rains between. Here an amazing message of the force of Nature.

Walking in the woodlands, searching for the spirit of the forest. Each time is an immersion in serenity… walking, listening, smelling, watching, charged with the energy and positivity that nature can give. Here in the Circeo National Park

Another wonderful sunset at the beach of “Lido di Latina” on the Tyrrhenian Sea.

Big-eyed naughty cat looking at the target. Tabby cat.

“Torre Astura” is an medieval coastal defense tower, build on the island called by the ancients merely Astura at the southeast extremity of the Bay of Antium (Anzio). Existing remains show that many of the Roman nobility must have had villas there. The Tower is part of the medieval castle of the Frangipani family. The castle was later a fief of the Caetani, the Orsini and then the Colonna families.

Walking in the area of “Campo de los volcanes” of Rosiana, Gran Canaria (Canary Islands) a nice, quiet space where a free nature is mixed with the hard work of the farmers.

Piccadilly Circus - a tourist attraction locals tend to stay away from. As the nation moves into yet another strict lockdown to tackle the new variant, this one's for those of us responsible locals who have stayed home unless absolutely essential. Since March 2020.
