A warm winter sunset seen looking west from the Sunnybrook LRT station in Toronto. The fading light turns the sky into a deep gold gradient while nearby buildings and rooftops fall into silhouette. For a few minutes at the end of the day, the city becomes simple shapes against the sky.

It's hard to pick up on the old rhythms of photography. Make a move in winter from a place with a mild climate to one characterized by fog, cold and little sun. I returned to my homeland and the love for these lands clashes with the climate I was no longer used to. The milder temperatures of these days, allowed the flowers to come out into our small garden. A little tribute to spring.

Walking in the Circeo National Park. The amazing world under the trees… I’m fascinated by mushrooms and their ability to grow wherever there is shade and humidity, their shapes and colors, their tenacity. I don’t know them, I look at them, I admire them and I try to steal an image to take with me.
This is a remote place Bärenloch. Its located close to the village of Eisenerz. The pictrue was taken during sunrise on a winter morning and shows the 2 peaks of Kaiserschild and Hochkogel in the first sunlight.

Walking in the Circeo National Park. This is a magic area full of history and gorgeous nature. A perfect place for the Magic Forest project with autumn mood.
“Torre Astura” is an medieval coastal defense tower, build on the island called by the ancients merely Astura at the southeast extremity of the Bay of Antium (Anzio). Existing remains show that many of the Roman nobility must have had villas there. The Tower is part of the medieval castle of the Frangipani family. The castle was later a fief of the Caetani, the Orsini and then the Colonna families.

The base of Torre Paola, on the Lungomare di Sabaudia (Latina, Italy) is a defensive coastal tower located on the Promontory of Circeo on the border with the long beach of Sabaudia. It was built between the end of the fifteenth and the beginning of the sixteenth century has a long defensive history and should become an historic museum.
The mouth of “Canale Mascarello”, one of the many canals that cross the Pontine Plain and open to the sea. A long exposure shot at sunset.
Twice a year, on a few days, the sun sinks on the opposite shore of the elongated lake. This means that the warm colors of the sunset are reflected throughout the lake. However, the mountains prevent it from "sinking" completely into the lake.
The calm lake level made it possible to stand a bit in the water and hold the camera close above the surface to enhance the effect a bit more.
The picture was taken close above the water. In the foreground, the waves spread out in circles around the points where a stone has been thrown across and touched the surface.
