Came across this bee this week. I’ve never seen one of these before and had to look it up. Apparently they are solitary bees and live in burrows. What really caught my attention was the eyes. So unusual for a bee

“La Laja” is a nice place in the north of Gran Canaria (Canary Islands) with a wide beach (a bit dangerous if you don’t know it) and a fall of volcanic rocks. A bit of luck give me a great sunrise.

Near Collepardo, on the slopes of the mountains La Monna and Rotonaria, in the complex of the Ernici, the Pozzo d'Antullo is a huge karst chasm that was created due to the sinking of a cave. The overhanging walls are still affected by dripping, or drops of water, and have many stalactites.
