Those crazy cops are always pranking each other!

...thank a cop. They're out there working on Christmas (and other holidays), some of them for sixteen hours in a row, or even more. They're protecting victims of domestic violence, chasing down carjackers, arresting murderers (on Christmas!) and talking people brought to the end of their rope by the holidays out of committing suicide. They're stopping that drunk driver from plowing into you on the highway. They're away from their families, doing what they need to do to keep us all safe.

So this holiday--thank those with the thankless jobs in the world. They appreciate it more than you know!

Washoe County Sheriff's Office SUV at the Reno Balloon Races.

Taken in Savannah, Ga, outside the police department. It's an anti drunk driving campaign. Concept is you can choose a taxi cab, or a cop car.

It took a while before the cops on the scene decided to actually bust up the skaters. Reinforcement showed up and some boards were confiscated. I heard some people even got tasered, but most people split pretty fast and escaped the long arm of the law.

Thanks to Const. Keane Block and Blue Line Racing for the phone call and the car.

One of five views showing former doorways (from different angles) inside COP car No. 013140 which was originally built as a 1st / 3rd composite with internal doors splitting it into three sections.

Two sections were for 1st class passengers (smoking and non-smoking) and one for 3rd class passengers (either smoking or non-smoking, I am not sure).

First class was abolished on the Hammersmith & City route in 1936 but the last 19 O stock trailers were built as composites because they were destined to be used with P stock driving motors on the main section of the Metropolitan line.

First class was abolished on the District & Metropolitan lines during WW2 but apart from the removal of the internal doors the trailer cars retained their other partitions.
