Long story... But these cops turned out to be some of the nicest guys in uniforms I've met in a long time. They were really interested with the ability to ride backwards so we let them have a try. They got half a backwards circle and a few track stands. Not bad for the first ride on a fixed gear. I've been having a rough year with cops so it was a nice year end reminder that not all cops are dicks. These guys were super nice. And down with fixed gears!
The Phi-cops dragons. Must upload some of my Evernote Moleskine doodling.... This started out as a play with "phi-cops" and once I joined two large versions in the middle I started to see the first dragon. Still a work in progress, so may colour it in time. ;@) Thanks for looking.
Actually, just a security guard at a local mall. Most of his colleagues wear the usual plain blue uniform and shoes, but this guy wears cop boots! Maybe he's also in to them?

New Orleans police officers interrogate a belligerent drunk on a side-street off of Bourbon St. The officer bending over in this shot looked up after he heard my shutter. Apparently annoyed by my presence, he asked me why I was taking pictures. I just said I was curious and kept walking. Other New Orleans cops on Bourbon St. were very receptive to me taking their pictures. I'm sure most of them encounter tourists with cameras on a regular basis.

Shot for Macro Mondays 'TV Show' theme. I'm always late with MacroMondays of late and this week is no exception! This was my first idea as Ethan has been pretty much playing with this car non stop (I might have done Casualty or ER if I could have found his ambulance!)
Traffic Cops is a long running BBC show where fly-on-the-wall cameras follow the police as they encounter endless maniacs on the roads. Scary stuff but quite entertaining too!

After a week in Wales and a weekend on camp, this week it's back to it, and I'll be at uni for the next two weeks. On 02/10/18 I cycled across Derby to uni, which has its advantages as I pass by Litchurch Lane works, and in a quick detour I can visit the works and the RTC. This evening I did just that, and the RTC produced 20007 and 20205 stabled...neither of which I had seen previously.
Modern cops. Might replace the handguns with glocks once my minifig.cat order arrives.

Protesters marching in Minneapolis near Hennepin/Lake remembering Manuel Teran(Tort), who was shot and killed by officers at a prolonged protest in an Atlanta forest after they say he fired upon them. They stopped at Lake/Girard where protester Deona Marie was killed on 06/13/21 and outside the ramp Winston Smith was killed by law enforcement 10 days earlier.
