Took this picture at Lofoten Island / Norway. We arrived after our flight, just stopped the car in the middle of nowhere and found the sky amazing green ....
Taken for the Cliche Saturday group, what can be more cliche that a shot of a line of Hershey Kisses, I could not resist this when I saw these in our supermarket today as we do not usually have these in the UK!
Also for my ODC group where the challenge today was neat. These kisses were lined up neatly so that the back ones created the blue and silver bokeh with a shallow DoF :-)
I will be back on later to catch up with everyone, I am off to my daughters school for the Bonfire Night Fireworks, it is usually a great show :-)
Up close and personal today with this lovely looking plant/shrub/flower....As you can tell I am in the dark as to what it is, so if any of you can I.D. that would be fab!

DDC-Cool Colours!
I was just observing that Ms. S has lost weight. Last time we we saw the Vet she said Shizandra needs to lose a few pounds, so we cut her food in half on the Vet's advice. I think it's working. She gets a small portion of 100% grass fed beef or fish in her breakfast too. She's doing very well and I think it shows :)
Getting my 10,000 steps in, as I walked from the office to Major's Hill Park next to the National Gallery over lunch time.
The view of the Hill was cast in shadows, as the sun had moved across to the sky to shine elsewhere.

When I came across this spot during evening-hours I was instantly fascinated by the nice contrast of colours and shapes of the scenery. Maybe you can imagine the warm and cosy wind on your skin ....

Die Wied ist im Moment einer meiner absoluten Lieblingsziele, wenn ich mal Zeit habe mit der Kamera alleine los zu ziehen. Hier gibt es eine unglaubliche Vielfalt an Flora und Fauna, so dass man eigentlich nie weiß welches Objektiv mit soll. Macro, Tele, Weitwinkel? Digital oder analog? - egal, passt immer irgendwas:)
Wenn man die richtigen Stellen kennt, findet man viele kleine, unberührte Stückchen Erde. Zu entsprechenden Tagen trifft man keinen einzigen Mensch, einfach traumhaft und die totale Entspannung.
You could say the Porsche Turbo is a very popular one here in Hong Kong. It can be seen in many different colours. But from all the colours I have seen so far this one is my personal favourite (it's called Macadamia Metallic)!

Yo, it is holidays =) Trying out some ideas I have, yet again. I love this. Even though the focus is funny. I need to take pictures for my I am grateful project...hmmm.
At Dwejra on Gozo's southern coastline is a superb natural phenomenon, the Inland Sea. Set in a deep recess in the rock coastline, the Inland Sea is a large expanse of shallow water linked to the sea outside through a narrow tunnel in the cliff. On calm days small fishing boats carry visitors out to sea through the narrow fissure, in order to see Fungus Rock and the Azure Window.
