I think Cook Street Village could also be known as Crow Street Village. There are a lot of crow around here. They're cool and all.. but if they form a hive mind we could seriously be in trouble. I can't fly. They could attack from various directions. Perhaps we can appease them in some way. Like virgin sacrifice. At the corner of Cock and Pendergast. In the Neutral turf between the two Churches of Coffee.. The "High Church" of Starbucks with it's formality and pomp, or the "Low Church" of the Mocha House with it's welcoming unpretenciousness.
Cook for workers at resivoir dam prepares lunch. He is cutting pork maw and pork liver. Prior to this he sliced cucumbers and cleaned lettuce. Many preparations for cooking take place on the ground.

It's now the Hair Boutique, as you can see, but this building's previous identity is a mystery: What, exactly, was Cooks Homat? There were apparently at least 18 of 'em, 'cause this was the eighteenth. It sounds kinda restauranty, bringing to mind home cooking and the automat, which I know is pretty much a contradiction. I scanned old Litchfield directories and never found a listing for Cooks Homat, either.
