Cook Out (2,565 square feet)
7065 George Washington Memorial Highway, Shoppes at Gloucester, Gloucester, VA
Opened July 15th, 2015; originally Bojangles' (November 1994-January 18th, 1998), later Popeyes Chicken & Biscuits (April 1998-2006), Arby's (2006-November 1st, 2014)
Here we have a Cook Out that's the fourth chain restaurant to operate out of this building. The interior of the last tenant, Arby's, was completely gutted and was redone with the usual Cook Out décor. I took photos here when Arby's was operating here and will provide comparison links.
A simple daily task like cooking can turn into a valuable math lesson. Here Shohagi with her mother Kamala count onions and garlic needed for their meal. Photo Credit: Jeff Holt
Grabbed this as I approached the register at Whole Foods this morning. I am looking forward to making the potato galette, cuban rice and beans and the mushroom ragout!

Zoom in on the big brick building in the centre of this shot to see the old "Cook With Gas" sign built into the brickwork. This is an old gasworks in Launceston, Tasmania.
This is said Mussels all cooked and ready to eat! Honestly I can't believe how quickly they were gone! Just did the classic spring onion, shallot, cream, white wine and parsley to finish.

John Cook gives his wife Harriett a gentle kiss as she falls asleep on the couch at their West Chester home on Wednesday, December 19, 2012. Emeritus at Long Cove Pointe in Mason offers a year round home visit program to seniors in the area at no cost. Cook has taken advantage of the service several times for Harriett, or "Hatsy", as he affectionately calls her. The two have been married for 53 years, and he has been caring for her at their home since she was diagnosed with Alzheimers disease in 2002. She often gets her days and nights mixed up, and sleeps for much of the day. John recently made the decision to have Harriett live full time at Emeritus after the two spend one last Christmas together in their home. "I want to spend one more holiday with her and then put her in a home," he says. The Enquirer/Leigh Taylor
