This '64 Corvette came in for a light cosmetic restoration. It was restored about 20 years ago and needed some freshening up the paint had started to crack and there were some dints and ding around the car that needed to be fixed. We refinished the body in the original Riverside Red with Valspar De Beer base clear.

You've seen my picture of a nearly identical car at the 2011 Chicago Auto Show, but this is the first one I've actually seen on the street, with dirt on its flanks.
And despite its owner's efforts to keep it away from other cars, the first bumper and door dings will come soon enough. After that, the first salt-encrusting snowstorm and the first bud of rust. It's the circle of automotive life.

Was later for sale at 38.000 GBP (48.000€). Even later in Sweden with new black top:
525.000 SEK (55.000€, 43.654 GBP)
The former owner listed the car with 34,000 miles.
