Cold and damp, outside at the nearby lake.

Warm and dry, inside in the livingroom.

Contrasts.

This would work better as a diptych if her hair were light on the black backdrop.

Not had much chance to get out lately, got a poorly wee boy at home, so sorry for the lack of comments on my contacts images. I'll try and catch up soon!

NASA's SLS Artemis I Moon rocket on launchpad 39b at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida, USA, on 12 November 2022.

NASA’s Artemis I flight test will be the first integrated test of the agency’s deep space exploration systems: the Orion spacecraft, SLS rocket, and supporting ground systems.

ESA’s European Service Module will be powering the Orion spacecraft to the Moon and back.

The European Service Module – or ESM – provides for all astronauts’ basic needs, such as water, oxygen, nitrogen, temperature control, power and propulsion. Much like a train engine pulls passenger carriages and supplies power, the European Service Module will take the Orion capsule to its destination and back.

The worn old locomotive and the motley collection of wagons is a funny contrast to the modern glass overhead bridge connecting the light rail system with the soon-to-be metro system of the Bankstown Line.

I'm keen to revisit this concept when the metroification of the Bankstown Line is completed, although it's anyones guess as to how many of the venerable old Europeans that we'll still see on the tracks by then.
