A mating pair of Marbled Whites shows the contrast between male, right and female, left. They prefer damp grassland with tall sward. My wife is an excellent spotter and found this pair soon after we arrived!
The soft browns, creams and greys of the bark of trees along the Yarra Bend Park Loop. Two trees: a Gum tree and another spiky barked tree as a montage of low contrast on a cloudy day. HMMM

Un anochecer entre los espartos del desierto de Granada.
Recogía para volver a casa después de contemplar la puesta de sol y me doy cuenta que a los pies del trípode había varias hormigas ya posicionadas para pasar la noche, el brillo de sus alas les delató. Misma lente del paisaje, rodilla a tierra y con los rojizos del anochecer a plena apertura unos cuantos clicks.

Ballintoy Harbour, North Coast.
One of my favourite spots to come to along the North Coast is Ballintoy. I remember coming here one evening earlier on in the year to see if we could catch a sunset. It was one of the first that I had ever attempted to capture. It was approaching the end of Spring, beginning of Summer and the weather was starting to take a turn. The colours in the sky were fantastic that evening and I remember being mesmerised by the drama in both the sky and sea - it was truly amazing! Both sky and sea danced the tune on this particular evening, and after finding myself a different spot I stayed there right until the sun set beneath the horizon! It was wonderful! I hope you enjoy these shots :)
Week 33 in 52 Weeks for Dogs.
Taivas had a forest walk on her own yesterday as Tasku is still in season, and she seemed very happy with the idea of leaving her 'little sis' at home. This isn't sharp enough for my liking but I still love the light and her pose.
