The snow softens all contours in nature. But sometimes it makes new ones.

I was attracted by the low evening light modelling the contours of these channels in the tidal estuary near Ogmore in Glamorgan, Wales.
Cheers!

Contours of light - The view down the Trotternish Ridge from the Quiraing with a perfectly positioned break in the heavy, moody, clouds allowing slivers of dawn light to hit the ridge. The rich, early light reveals the curving slopes of Cleat and in the distance, the angular cliffs of Beinn Edra, amplifying the contours of the distinctive features of the Trotternish.
Wonderfully atmospheric conditions typifying the very best of what this inspirational, world class, landscape has to offer.

today I had work, and that was about it. joe's band, waking nelson (myspace.com/wakingnelson) had a show today, but it's in CT so I couldn't make it :(
when I got home, I started dinner, took a few photos while there was still light, and finished editing photos of tara. julia, ever the life saver when it comes to my in...decision with photos, helped me narrow them down enough to make a blog post tomorrow morning or maybe even tonight, hooray! I still have to make a million catch-up blog posts, I have to finish editing/posting the lovely hil's shoot, and I have a lot of stuff to post to flickr, too. maybe I'll get all this done wednesday/thursday :P
tomorrow I have work again, and Abby needs me to take more photos while I'm there. I'm really excited for sunday-thursday, though. it's going to be fun, and relaxing, and lovely.

The Autty Outfit Set by Brior delivers chic comfort, blending a cropped distressed jacket with high-waisted leggings that contour perfectly for a sleek silhouette. Its muted tones paired with pops of texture make it a wardrobe must-have.
Elevating the futuristic vibe are Mirror Glasses by Majesty, offering a bold and reflective statement that turns heads wherever you go. These sunglasses are the epitome of edgy sophistication.
The hairstyle is on point with the Kadeja Ponytail by Wunshego, a sleek, polished pony that adds a dose of glamour and confidence to the ensemble. It’s the ultimate finishing touch for a polished, modern look.
Lastly, the Bon Bon Bucket Bag by Arnaud ties it all together with a vibrant pop of color. This mini bag is perfect for carrying essentials while keeping the outfit playful yet refined. A true show-stopper for a sunny stroll or a casual day out!

I've always liked the contours on this field at Hawthorn so I got up this morning to take the dog for a walk around one of my favorite local stamping grounds. Made a nice change from heading to the beach. A blend of two bracketed exposures.
A view overlooking Wahweap Bay and Antelope Island. With the Grand Staircase Escalante in the background. The sun had set, the shadows vanished, and the sky was full of color. The winds were gusting over 30mph. Not the ideal conditions to shoot in, but the colors of the landscape made it worth the effort. Some consider the ultra wide lens as the best landscape lens. Not here. The best lens for landscape is the one that the landscape dictates. In this case, I chose the telephoto.

Keukenhof 12-04-1992. After invites from the ACE and Wright Contours groups I went looking which ones I really had seen. I thought only a few, but there were a bit more, 5 of them from Whittle.
But this is the most interesting one - B938 BVH is an ACE Puma IV / Wright Contour new in May 1985 to Traject, Huddersfield (Abbeyways). Here it is seen with Holmeswood Coaches.
