In the Eurasian state apparatus a contingency plan was in place in the event of civil war. The secret police and special forces had been monitoring the Russian Ultranationalists for years, and by the year of their uprising had concluded that they'd thoroughly lost control of most of the European part of Russia. However, it was deemed that to kill this and any other uprising as soon as possible, the most elite elements of the Eurasian Military would decapitate the leadership of any militants as quickly as possible. So when the Russian Ultranationalist Leadership traveled to Paris to meet with NATO and coordinate their rebellion, Eurasian special forces infiltrated and executed every leader before disappearing into the night. Without its head the Ultranationalist Rebellion would be slowly chipped away until its final defeat some five years later.
My final scene before I go back to college for the spring semester, it's looking like I'll have a busy summer too so don't expect many big projects but I would like to do these scenes as I get the chance during these next few months.

About to touch down at Prestwick airport in Scotland is this USAF "Little Rock" AFB Lockheed C130j Hercules.
Little Rock Air Force Base (AFB) is a United States Air Force base located approximately 17 miles (27 km) northeast of Little Rock, Arkansas.
The host unit at Little Rock AFB is the 19th Airlift Wing (19 AW), assigned to the Air Mobility Command 21st Expeditionary Mobility Task Force. The wing provides the Department of Defence the largest C-130 Hercules transport fleet in the world, supplying humanitarian airlift relief to victims of disasters, as well as airdropping supplies and troops into the heart of contingency operations in hostile areas.
In a certain sense, Adam's sin was a sin arising from inquisitiveness, if such an expression be admissible. Originally, Adam saw contingencies in the aspect of their relationship to God and not as independent entities. Anything that is considered in that relationship is beyond the reach of evil; but the desire to see contingency as it is in itself is a desire to see evil; it is also a desire to see good as something contrary to evil. As a result of this sin of inquisitiveness - Adam wanted to see the "other side" of contingency - Adam himself and the whole world fell into contingency as such; the link with the divine Source was broken and became invisible; the world became suddenly external to Adam, things became opaque and heavy, they became like unintelligible and hostile fragments. This drama is always repeating itself anew, in collective history as well as in the life of individuals.
A meaningless knowledge, a knowledge to which we have no right either by virtue of its nature, or of our capacities, and therefore by virtue of our vocation, is not a knowledge that enriches, but one that impoverishes. Adam had become poor after having acquired knowledge of contingency as such, or of contingency in so far as it limits. We must distrust the fascination which an abyss can exert over us; it is in the nature of cosmic blind-alleys to seduce and to play the vampire; the current of forms does not want us to escape from its hold.
Forms can be snares just as they can be symbols and keys; beauty can chain us to forms, just as it can also be a door opening towards the formless.
Or again, from a slightly different point of view: the sin of Adam consists in effect of having wished to superimpose something on existence, and existence was beatitude; Adam thereby lost this beatitude and was engulfed in the anxious and deceptive turmoil of superfluous things.
Instead of reposing in the immutable purity of Existence, fallen man is drawn into the dance of things that exist, and they, being accidents, are delusive and perishable.
In the Christian cosmos, the Blessed Virgin is the incarnation of this snow-like purity; She is inviolable and merciful like Existence or Substance; God in assuming flesh brought with Him Existence, which is as it were His Throne; He caused it to precede Him and He came into the world by its means. God can enter the world only through virgin Existence.

Since we are definitely in the cold grip of winter here where I live, it seems like good timing for this one. It features a new vest from Brick Affliction (which I believe should be available later this month). It doesn't really have what would be considered realistic winter military colors, but I wanted to add a few accents to the mix to make it more interesting.

As ever, we had rain during our stay in the Lakes but as a contingency plan, we headed out for waterfalls. Lodore Falls are on Derwentwater, not far from Keswick and we thought they might prove interesting. There wasn't too much water, so we concentrated on detail shots.
One cannot understand the meaning of the divine Message without knowing the nature of the human receptacle; he who understands man, understands all the supernatural and cannot help but accept it. Man in principle has the right to the satisfaction of his elementary needs and to the enjoyment of a congenial ambience, but he has this right only in view of his vocation of knowing God, whence derives his duty to practice the disciplines that contribute directly or indirectly to this knowledge.
The worth of man lies in his consciousness of the Absolute, and consequently in the integrality and the depth of this consciousness; having lost sight of it by plunging himself into the world of phenomena viewed as such (this is prefigured by the fall of the first couple), man needs to be reminded of it by the celestial Message.
Fundamentally, this Message comes from "himself:' not of course from his empirical "I" but from his immanent Ipseity, which is that of God and without which there would be no "1'', whether human, angelic, or any other; the credibility of the Message results from the fact that it is what we are, both within ourselves and beyond ourselves. In the depths of transcendence is immanence, and in the depths of immanence, transcendence.

Aftrer a fantastic sighting of a large contingency of the Cheli Pride feasting on a wildebeest and lazing in the afternoon hours, we decided to set off in a different direction to shoot a landscape.
The clouds in the western sky were problematic, and sunset was looking like a non-event, so we shot in the opposite direction, capturing intense golden hour light falling on the acacia tree, set against an ominous sky.
Day before the race, the race cars/drivers and sponsors go down the street for the fans to see, interact with, and take photos.

A very odd one this with a Barnstaple bound service seen soon after rejoining the double track on the branch with a NBL Type 2 towing a 2 car dmu that has lost it's rear driving motor second. The lack of an appropriate headcode suggests it was an emergency contingency. The class 22 exhibits a common trait of the class with portions of the bodyside skirt missing.

Main story
There are two reasons why a person faces the sea.
One, to enjoy a slice of shine in the sea like children bubbling over in the beach.
The other, to brush the dust of memory like an old man who misses old days, staring at the shine
quietly.
Those lead to only one meaning though they do not seem to overlap. It’s a rebirth.
I face myself to change tomorrow, a vague day into something certain.
That is the meaning of a rebirth.
I had a very sweet girlfriend when I was 18.
After she left, I knew the meaning of gentleness for the first time and also a true pain of loss. After
she left, how many times did I depend too much on her, doubt her, envy her and keep on telling lies
until I realized it is love?
I wonder whether a nobody like me could have given something to her who was struggling in the
daily life in those days. Giving something is arrogant conceit. It is nothing but self-satisfaction.
I had been thinking about such a thing.
However, I guess what she saw in me was because I had nothing. That‘s why she tried to see
something in me. Perhaps she found a slight possibility in me, a guy filled with ambiguous, unstable
tomorrow. But I wasted days depending too much on her gentleness.
Now I finally can convey how I felt in those days when we met.

あらすじ
大学を目指している北見ケイは、SNS上で、6歳年上のイベントコンパニオン、上村香織に出会う。
上京してきた香織の夢は、有名なアーティストの友達になるためだ。
そのためにはラジオ局のプロデューサー、大沢亮の存在が必要だった。
大沢は、ラジオの生放送中、香織へ語りかける。
「僕には妻子がある。しかし、僕は君に会いたいと思っている」
ケイの同級生で、彼を想っている三條里香は、香織の動向を探っていた。。。。。
本編
人が海へ向かう理由には、二つある。
ひとつは、波打ち際ではしゃぐ子供のように、今の瞬間の海の輝きを楽しむこと。
もうひとつは、その輝きを静かに見据えて、過ぎ去った日々を懐かしむ老人のように記憶の埃を払うこと。
二つは重なり合わないようではあるけれども、たったひとつの意味しか生まない。
再生だ。
明日っていう、曖昧な日を確実なものへと変えてゆくために、自分の存在に向き合う。
それが再生の意味だ。
十八歳だった僕には大切な人がいた。

E per chi ci vede un eccesso di romanticismo, si ricreda pensando che il cuore nella foto una volta era un Barbapapà semi-tarocco, accuratamente tagliato e levigato per l'occasione...
Concept: The 21th century ethos (if my arms are not being stretched too far calling the (post)modern egobehaviour that way) should be contingent: i.e. era dependant, fogged with that rational individualism occidentally self-declared as "envied of". But what happens with mundane Events, still parented with the mentioned ethos (at least that's what we think), but left defenseless to Casuality (which is, of course, the domain of Vitality, Nature, the Unspoken (as in "beyond the human"))? Does Reality beyond our eye (and mind) exist, and if it does (and it's uncontaminated), why do we keep pumping our synapses further into issues not in our reach (absolutely not)? Like accidents, for example.
Background: Unwordly phenomenons (accidents), ah, not ours, unrational, not structured, Events, ever foreign, "unexistant", right? They were never in the palm of our hand (even if more than frequently veiled with pseudorational religious (and scientific) explanations (and explications). But it's Casuality "playing" with our centripedal ego (the all-knowing God after God died by our rational weapons), seizing us (and not the other way around, Kantian child).
Manipulation info: Again a shot overlayered with a couple of textures (some made by myself with brushes). The sky is a collage of clouds, the lower portion with the breast a shot of an unknown model of mine (?;)) and the playground too an old shot from the mount Slavnik. The man being fired off (accident) was brushed in and motion blured.
I'd really like to apologize for my obvious absence on Flickr to all my friends here, especially those that never miss to support my works. I feel kind of bad not being here and sharing thoughts with you and thanking each one of you individually, but I hope you understand the busy period of mine;) I'll be back as soon as possible.
