We have had some big projects here for the past week. Here you see Nigel supervising installation of our new "Purrfect Fence" cat containment system. We had an old one we put up almost 20 years ago, but now we have a commercially installed fence and we are putting in the adaptation for the top of it so we have no escapees! Hopefully not. Keeping them safe gives me peace of mind. It's not the road that is the scariest thing down here on the Elk River, but the other critters like coyotes, other peoples' dogs, foxes, and on and on.
The way we see it, we have already put in 3 hard days of work, but today, we have ALL the hardware on and arms in the correct positions for most of the fencing- 200 feet worth! It will be a big cat-safe area! Once we finish with all the arms, we will attach polyfencing and make sure it's all attached with no areas for escape! The arms are also spring-loaded so that if a cat comes up underneath, it will bend down some and they will feel they are falling and will stop! The arms are set at about 7 feet tall.

7506 From the Nuclear Containment Facility-I love Idaho. Prairie fire to the north made for some pretty extreme atmospheric perspective.
We pass this house on the base regularly. They have two stunning Malinois, this sign is a new complement to their dinosaur sign and we laughed when we saw it. Grand Forks AFB.

The scene was illuminated by two Nikon SB900 speedlights placed at 8- and 4-o'clock, two-feet above and three-feet away from the subject. They were fired in Manual mode @ ½ power through Neewer 24" x 24" soft boxes.
The SB900s were triggered by three PocketWizard Plus Xs.
Lens: reverse-mounted Nikon EL-Nikkor 50mm/f2.8 attached to bellows extended to 142mm.

J'étais à Nantes le week-end dernier et avec ma compagne nous avons eu envie de revoir le passage Pommeraye. C'est un lieu incontournable de la ville. Le confinement a parfois du bon, le coin était quasiment désert et la lumière était belle alors j'en ai profité.
I was in Nantes last weekend and with my partner we wanted to see the passage Pommeraye again. It is a must-see place in the city. Containment is sometimes good, the area was almost deserted and the light was beautiful so I took advantage.
