The Santa Fe Depot was built in 1903-1904 and was operational as a train depot until 1973. It currently houses the Pottawatomie County Historical Society Museum.

Walking in Hong Kong is fun! One afternoon I strolled along the shoreline in Whampoa near our hotel and ended up at Laguna Verde, an upscale housing estate in Hung Hom, consisting of 25 residential high rises.
I processed a paintery and a balanced HDR photo from three RAW exposures, merged them selectively, and carefully adjusted the color balance and curves. I welcome and appreciate constructive comments.

It was a gorgeous day skiing at the big Lenzerheide/Arosa ski resort, located in the Grison region of the Swiss Alps. A gondola takes you all the way up to the Parpaner Rothorn. The ski slope on the way down passes through a tunnel, then over a bridge, then through another tunnel. This is done to protect skiers from avalanches.
Down in the valley you can see the town of Vaz/Obervaz. The flairs are not from the lens, but from the gondola glass window.

Our son gave us a tour of the Engineering School at the Stanford University in California. We passed by some colorful trees at the Stanford Law School.

A big thank you to anyone taking the time to view & comment on my photography. Constructive advice always appreciated.
Let's jump into the Dolomites with this shot that was only made possible after snowshoeing up above the fog bank in the valley. And I was certainly glad we did so, as it afforded these types of scenes that morning. You get a hint of the mountains in the distance, and they will certainly be featured more prominently in future posts.
Going thigh, and up to waist, deep in the snow this morning reminded me of needing to get in better shape. That certainly tires you out quickly.
