The Ngorongoro Crater absolutely takes your breath away when you see it for the first time. It is, according to Wikipedia, 'the world's largest inactive, intact and unfilled volcanic caldera'. It reaches a depth of over 600 metres and has a surface area of some 260 square kilometres. The caldera is teeming with wildlife, including this prowling lioness.
