I don't have a lot of interest in cars except as a means of transport, but old ones, dead and very gone, by trails long since inaccessible to transport still fascinate me, like the two in Frontenac.

In heavy grass we all lined up to look for seedling pine trees at Surat Bay, Catlins. It was good having 16 people as we could cover a large amount of ground at once looking for seedlings.

A trip to Wildwood Trust.

The errosion factor is clearly visible all along the pond, so are the efforts to contain the effects of errosion.

I took thiis photos at the Water Conservation Garden at Cuyamaca College. The Water Conservation Garden has nearly five acres of displays that showcase water conservation through a series of beautiful themed gardens, such as a native plant garden and a vegetable garden, as well as how-to displays such as mulch and irrigation exhibits. Admission is free, and the Garden can be viewed on a self-guided tour, or through one of our programs.
